  • There's been talk that Kurt Angle could be a surprise in the Royal Rumble match.
  • Brock Lesnar could very well start wrestling on Raw here soon, instead of simply showing up for promo spots and brief physical altercations.
  • WWE may be planning to update the designs for the Intercontinental and US championship titles.
  • Beth Phoenix could be going into the WWE Hall of Fame this year.
  • WWE apparently has deals in place with ICW, OTT, and Progress to air shows on the Network, and announcements could be coming soon.

Real Reason why Beth Phoenix was 'Fired' and also you'll never believe who her Boyfriend in Real Life is

As reported earlier, Beth Phoenix has will be leaving WWE. Phoenix was “fired” on RAW last night, to remove her from television. In reality, Phoenix’s contract came to an end with the company, she didn't want to renew it, citing burnout as one of the reasons. However, the main reason, was to spend more time at home with new boyfriend Adam “Edge” Copeland. Do not expect Phoenix to appear for any other promotions in the meantime.

WWE Pushed to Punished, The Extinguishing Extinction of Beth Phoenix

Over the course of the last month, I've revived my WWE Pushed to Punished series to analyze the controversial careers of past and present WWE Superstars. With this being my final edition for the time being, I'll look to analyze the destructive downfall of the first Diva to be analyzed in the Pushed to Punished series: Beth Phoenix.

Five years ago today, the first major milestone of Phoenix's career occurred when she won her first Women's Championship. Now, the future of her WWE career remains unclear as rumors speculate she could very well be out the WWE by the end of the month.

In light of her potential departure, I'll break down each of her monumental moments and lowest of lows in an attempt to discover what could've possibly pushed her to leave the company.

On the May 8, 2006 edition of Raw, Beth Phoenix made her debut by attacking then-Women's Champion Mickie James in order to protect her idol Trish Stratus. Despite the major push she received upon her arrival, Phoenix fractured her jaw no more than a month later during a match with Victoria.

Sadly, this would also mean that any chance of seeing Phoenix battle Stratus in a one-on-one match was now nonexistent, as the Canadian Diva went on to retire from the ring that September. During Phoenix's one-year absence from WWE television, she went back to her stomping grounds of OVW to further hone her craft and character.

Upon her return the following year, she was reintroduced as a "close friend" of Melina, replacing her in a tag team match against then-Women's Champion Candice Michelle and Mickie James on the July 9, 2007 edition of Raw. She immediately set her sights on Michelle's title and took one step closer to capturing the gold after outlasting many other Divas in an interpromotional battle royal at SummerSlam to earn herself a future shot at the strap.

From that point forward, Phoenix was booked as a destructive Diva that dominated anything or anyone who stood in her way. Now referring to herself as the "Glamazon," she came up short at winning the Women's Championship at Unforgiven, but was successful in capturing her first Women's title the following month at No Mercy.

For the remainder of the year, Phoenix feuded with Mickie James, whom she lost to at the Survivor Series event, which included a 10-Divas tag team match. Despite the loss, Phoenix successfully defended her strap against James at the Armageddon pay-per-view that December.

In March 2008, Phoenix made her WrestleMania debut, defeating Maria and Ashley in a Lumberjill tag team match alongside Melina. Two weeks later on the April 14th edition of Raw in England, Phoenix's six-month-long reign as Women's Champion came to an end at the hands of Mickie James.

After failing to recapture the title, tension began to erupt between longtime friends Phoenix and Melina. The alliance came to an ultimate end after Phoenix blamed Melina for her numerous losses and ambushed her backstage during an episode of Raw in mid-May.

At One Night Stand, the two bitter rivals battled in the first-ever Divas "I Quit" match, where Phoenix forced Melina to utter the two unbearable words following an innovative Glam Slam submission maneuver. Following the event, Phoenix took some time off from television.

On the July 14, 2008 edition of Raw, Phoenix returned to answer Santino Marella's open challenge, and shockingly defeated the Milan Miracle. In subsequent weeks, the two lovebirds formed a relationship which later became known as Glamarella.

Although the pairing was strange, they were also undoubtedly successful. At SummerSlam, Glamarella defeated the duo of Kofi Kingston and Mickie James, with Phoenix winning her second Women's title in the process while Santino Marella won back the Intercontinental Championship.

During her second reign as champ, Phoenix would defeat the likes of Mickie James and the returning Candice Michelle to retain her title. Also, Rosa Mendes would make her WWE debut that November as a "superfan" of Phoenix, interfering in most of her matches and attacking her opponents.

At the conclusion of the year, Phoenix was awarded the Slammy Award for Diva of the Year, and rightfully so, considering the year she had in 2008. On the final Raw of the year, she encountered Trish Stratus for the first time in over two years, whom she lost to later in the evening as a part of a mixed tag team match against John Cena and Stratus.

Heading into 2009, Phoenix lost her Women's Championship to Melina at the Royal Rumble event and failed to regain it on an episode of Raw a few weeks later. She took part in the inaugural (and only) Miss WrestleMania battle royal at WrestleMania 25, but was lastly eliminated by the debuting Santina Marella.

Of course, Phoenix was enraged by the fact that her boyfriend dressed up as a woman and cost her the victory, which caused her to cut ties with him by the spring season. Once their rivalry concluded, Phoenix disappeared from television, only to return that July in a less prominent role on Raw.

She received a shot at Mickie James' Divas Championship on the August 31st edition of Raw, but came up short against her former rival. Following that, Phoenix made sporadic appearances on the flagship show before being traded to SmackDown that October.

Even there, Phoenix was still underutilized and hardly shown on television. Although she was on the winning side of a six-Diva tag team match at Bragging Rights, she was on the losing side of a 10-Diva elimination tag team match at Survivor Series.

It wasn't until January that Phoeinx was finally used in a meaningful manner, becoming the second woman in history to compete in a Royal Rumble match. Surprisingly enough, she managed to eliminate The Great Khali, but received a GTS from CM Punk moments later.

For the first time since debuting four years prior, Phoenix effectively turned face after saving Tiffany from an attack by Lay-Cool. She competed in a 10-Diva tag team match at WrestleMania 26, but her team was on the losing end.

Regardless, Phoenix furthered her feud with SmackDown's resident mean girls throughout the month of April, eventually defeating Michelle McCool in the first-ever Extreme Makeover match at Extreme Rules to win her third Women's Championship.

However, a mere two weeks later, Phoenix tore her ACL during a match with her former protege Rosa Mendes on WWE Superstar. As a result, Phoenix lost her Women's title to Lay-Cool the following week on SmackDown in order to undergo the necessary surgery.

Following months of rehabilitation, Phoenix made her shocking return to WWE at the Survivor Series event to decimate Lay-Cool and celebrate Natalya's Divas Championship win. The two teamed together at WWE TLC the following month to defeat McCool and Layla at the inaugural Divas Tables match in what was one of the best Divas matches that year.

Phoenix continued to act as an ally to Natalya in the months that followed before moving back to Raw as part of the 2011 WWE Supplemental Draft. Upon her return to Raw, nothing significant happened until the August 1st edition of Raw, where the Glamazon won a battle royal to become the number one contender to the Divas Championship.

Immediately following the bout, Phoenix aggressively ambushed then-Divas Champion Kelly Kelly, turning heel in the process. Despite her major momentum, she came up short at winning the title at SummerSlam.

It was during that time that Natalya also turned her back on the WWE Universe, aligning with Phoenix to form the Divas of Doom. The second-generation star would be a key factor in helping Phoenix win most of her matches for nearly six months.

Phoenix's quest to become Divas Champion continued, wreaking havoc on any Diva that stood in her way. After failing to win the title yet again in front of her hometown crowd at Night of Champions, it was "third time's the charm" at Hell in a Cell, with Phoenix joining an elite group of Divas that have captured both the Divas and Women's title during the course of their careers.

In subsequent months, the Divas of Doom ran rampant in the Divas division, with Phoenix retaining her title against the likes of Eve, Kelly Kelly and Tamina. Sadly, none of Phoenix's feuds were ever anything truly memorable, but the matches were still better than what we're used to seeing from the lovely ladies these days.

During a match with Alicia Fox on Raw in mid-December, Phoenix suffered a minor injury that saw her out of action for over a month. The 30-day rule was completely ignored, of course, as she maintained possession of the title during her absence.

She made her return at the start of 2012, scoring victories at the Royal Rumble and Elimination Chamber respectively. However, she and Eve were on the losing end of a tag team match at WrestleMania 28 after Extra star Maria Menounos pinned Phoenix.

Just days away from snapping Maryse's record as the longest reigning Divas Champion in WWE history, Phoenix lost her title to Nikki Bella on the April 23rd edition of Raw. She planned on utilizing her rematch clause at Extreme Rules, but stepped out of the match after it was revealed that the knee injury she suffered during her previous match with Bella wouldn't allow her to compete.

At Over the Limit and No Way Out, Phoenix was unable to recapture the title. At the same time, she and Natalya gradually parted ways, as the Canadian sweetheart starting to become more of a tweener over time.

Phoenix was rendered irrelevant for months, jobbing out to almost everyone on the roster. It wasn't until just recently that her career was somewhat resurrected, being accused as the one who attacked Kaitlyn at Night of Champions.

In doing so, it's reverted Phoenix back to a fan favorite in an attempt to disprove Eve and her inaccurate accusations. Last week on SmackDown, Phoenix took part in what I found to be the Divas match of the year (that's not saying much) when she defeated Natalya in front of her hometown crowd in Buffalo.

Unfortunately, her angle with Eve was cut short after losing to the Divas Champion this past week on Raw. It remains to be seen whether Phoenix will continue to chase the former Divas Search winner or if she'll be left off any television programs until her contract expires later this month.

It's been widely reported that one of the main reasons behind her possible departure from WWE is because her boyfriend Edge will be undergoing neck surgery later this year. That and the fact that she hopes to get out of the wrestling business early so she won't end up like the Rated-R Superstar.

Who can blame her?

She's accomplished almost everything she set out to do in winning both the Women's and Divas Championships, winning at WrestleMania, winning a Slammy Award, and even competing in the Royal Rumble. There's not much left for Phoenix to do, especially since the Divas division is at its weakest at the moment.

WWE has the tendency to utilize the same Divas each and every week in their programming, so it wouldn't surprise me if her departure had little impact on the storylines. However, there's much more that they could be doing with her right now, so it's a shame that her exit from WWE means we won't be seeing as many well-wrestled Divas matches we've witnessed from the Glamazon in recent years.

Of course, I won't jump to conclusions because there's always the possibility that she won't end up leaving the company after all, but appreciate the Glamazon while she's still around. Many women wrestlers have left their respective companies this year, so Phoenix leaving should come as no surprise.

As dominating as Phoenix was, she was also the cornerstone of the Divas division for nearly five years. It's just funny to think that it was five years ago to this very day that her career was just getting started, and now she finds herself in the lowest point of her career to date.

Why she's being booked the way she has been is beyond me, but one can only hope that she goes out with a bang come the end of October. She's truly made an impact since the start of her WWE tenure and deserves much more than what she's getting right now.

As previously stated, this will be my final edition of Pushed to Punished for the foreseeable future, but the series will return on the first weekend of December. Until then, I thank you for your continuous support of the series; be sure to include any suggestions for Superstars you'd like to see me analyze upon the return of Pushed to Punished.

Survivor Series 2011 : Divas Champion Beth Phoenix vs. Eve (Lumberjill Match)

photo : wwe.com

The fight over the Divas Championship amidst Eve and champion Beth Phoenix has spilled out of the ring and into the locker room, on Twitter and even the interstates of Georgia. Now, the a few can face off at Survivor Series in a Lumberjill Match and if their late crashes are any evidence, not even the roads of New York City would hold them. Yet, that won’t be a situation this Sunday, as the ring can be surrounded by lumberjills. In the event that the activity is taken to the stadium stun, its dependent upon the rest of the WWE Divas to toss them again in the ring.

When The Glamazon massacred Eve to hold her championship final month at Vengeance, she and Natalya carried on their tries to break the spirits of Eve and Kelly. They stole Eve's adapt from the locker room the accompanying week, tweeting out pictures ridiculing the marvelousness as they toyed with her golden ring attire. Yet, the Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu-educated Diva got a measure of retribution on the Oct. 31 Raw SuperShow, dumping Natalya out of the ring to win a No. 1 Contender's Battle Royal to acquire a rematch in opposition to Phoenix at Survivor Series.

Eve and Kelly likewise constructed a late partner in Alicia Fox, who accommodated the pair assist repulse the ambushes of the self-declared “Sisters of Salvation” as well as modest them by heisting the Divas Champion and Natalya's rental auto.

The Divas Championship Match at Survivor Series might as well be an one-on-one undertaking. Nonetheless, nothing in this contention has been equitably challenged, as a result of the devious tactics of The Glamazon and Natalya. Now, the decks should be stacked a small more proportionally, as Kelly, Alicia Fox, Natalya and the rest of the WWE Divas can be ringside to verify the movement stays in the ring.

Which Diva will rule and leave with the championship?

Raw Recap 11/7/11 : WWE Diva's, They Want Their Gimmick Back!

Raw from Liverpool, England appeared to take a shot at paper, but in execution, fell level. A fantastic break from the standard a few moment tag crew matches, the previous evening Raw alternately offered an in-ring portion positioned around Kelly Kelly‘s divulging of her late Maxim magazine blanket. With the Divas seldomly getting mic time, this portion would be able to have propelled the storyline, prodding the upcoming Eve vs Beth title match or setting something up for Survivor Series, alternately it didn’t totally perform anything. Well, it composed this author yearn for LayCool, but that would be about it.

Let’s watch:
WATCH ONLINE : WWE Raw 11/7/11 (Full Show)

WATCH ONLINE : WWE Raw 11/7/11 (Full Show)

We see Kelly with a tremendous smirk on her challenge strolling to the ringside dominion, and she has exceptional purpose behind the grin—she's on the spread of Maxim! As Jerry Lawler presents her as his “best liked Diva” (hmm, we’re sensing a plan: The Kat, Trish, Kelly turns out to a huge adulation from the swarm. (Form sidebar: I’m not feeling Kelly's dress.)

Kelly starts giving us an Oscar talk about acting like an adult in front of the WWE Universe and having her ups and downs. That would be fabulous, Kelly, but this isn’t a retirement talk. You’ve still stretched out beyond you. Unequivocally indicate us the spread!

Obviously, you can’t have quite an euphoric instant for one Diva without an additional smashing the gathering. Actually, construct that a few, as out come Beth Phoenix and Natalya taunting small Kelly and calling her a Barbie doll. Kelly's comeback? “I wouldn’t intrude on you depending on if you were on the spread of National Geographic”. Womp.

Beth declares that Kelly being on a magazine blanket is a false impression of what it takes to be a Diva. “A WWE Diva is something greater than simply an all around appearance and a bucketful of perkiness”. Beth and Natalya try to corner Kelly and tell her its “shout time”. On the other hand, before they can lay a hand on K2, out come Eve and Alicia Fox (Fashion sidebar: Alicia looks furious), making the recovery, as the Divas of Doom escape the ring.

Alicia & Eve tell Kelly that this is her instant, not Beth and Natalya’s, disclosing her spread for all to see.

Musings: Two statements: Not astounded. I’m not awed by the course that WWE has taken Beth and Natalya, having them appear to be a LayCool tribute act, deriding Kelly as they descended the slope. I’m sad, but I actually don’t purchase it. Layla and Michelle McCool were excellent at what they did in light of the fact that they had the pretentious heel schedule under control. Beth and Natalya are not affected heels. They are physically antagonizing, break-a-b*tch-depending on if-she-checks out-you-wrong heels. In any event they ought to be. The theatrics that WWE had Beth and Natalya do as they descended the slope fell level, assuming that you inquire. I actually don’t think that this is the bearing these elements might as well be going in. I much inclined toward the second part of Beth's promo, discussing how magazines blankets and so forth. give a false representation of what a Diva might as well be. It felt more “accurate” to their elements.

Contrasting this with the Christy Hemme Playboy divulging in 2005, this portion needed. Trish Stratus had the appeal and pizazz to totally put a verbal hurting on Christy (as well as a physical one), but none, of these Natalya or Beth are Trish on the mouthpiece. That would be not a thump on them, since the Divas can’t get preferable unless they’re given more mic chance to enhance, but it unequivocally didn’t have that wit to it in the same route as Trish had, nor did it tick the “annoyingly heel-ish and pretentious” box like LayCool.

I could have taken every available opportunity to see Beth cut the second part of that promo, then afterward have them physically threaten Kelly, possibly put her in that stretch accommodation until Alicia and Eve made the recovery.

I adore Beth and Natalya, but WWE appears to be absent the pontoon on what the aforementioned elements ought to be.

Notwithstanding what about Eve's title shot? No notice of it whatsoever the previous evening. They could’ve done something with Eve and Beth to tease their title match, for example Eve & Alicia making the recovery, and afterward Eve and Beth having some sort of dispute.

Cryssi could be once more following week, but for this week… Melanie out!

What Kelly Kelly's win over Beth Phoenix means

courtesy : wwe.com

Just when it seemed that the WWE creative team had decided to resurrect the Divas division by having Beth Phoenix and Natalya rise to relevance again, Kelly Kelly walked out of SummerSlam 2011 still with the Divas championship.

How did Kelly accomplish this feat? With a counter to Phoenix's finisher into a pinning roll-up...apparently that's how you defeat someone as powerful as the "Glamazon."

But for those who wish to see Natalya and Phoenix take over the division, don't be too discouraged by the loss tonight.

I would relate Phoenix's loss tonight to the beginning of the Christian-Randy Orton feud when "The Viper" defeated Christian for the world heavyweight championship just days after he won the title.

I believe that, though Phoenix took the loss tonight, it was only to add to this feud, which is only in its early stages.

This seems to be the start of a rivalry that could actually save the division, even though it began on a bad note for the more powerful Diva.

Phoenix and Natalya have not been doing much of anything this calendar year; besides the occasional oversized tag-team match and WWE Superstars appearance, the two blondes have been all but absent from WWE programming.

I don't think that creative would spend decent airtime on the two Divas jumping A.J. and Kelly Kelly without the storyline going further, and the way Kelly won at SummerSlam leaves room for this rivalry to grow and garner just what the Divas division desperately needs: airtime.

The fact that Kelly won by a simple roll-up allows for the Phoenix to come out on Raw this coming Monday and explain how her opponent's victory was a fluke, how she demands a rematch and so forth, and then have a nice heated promo with the current Divas champion.

What happens with Natalya over on Smackdown is yet to be seen, but there's a good chance we see her and Phoenix team-up and become a powerful duo in the division.

It doesn't take a wrestling enthusiast to notice that the Divas division has all but been ignored, with the exception of the Bella twins and Kelly Kelly.

The company has even lost two of its top talents in Melina and Gail Kim due to their recent lack of exposure.

This rivalry could potentially bring back the division that actually has more talent than the WWE would have you believe.

It's time for the creative team to finally pay attention to their female wrestlers and allow them to showcase the talent that they possess.

This Kelly-Phoenix rivalry could change the way the Divas division is perceived if it takes off and becomes a captivating storyline.

Why Beth Phoenix can defeat Kelly Kelly and take her title

courtesy : wwe.com

The most interesting women's match in WWE in quite some takes place at WWE Summerslam 2011. Who will come out on top?

Well, some fans might argue that WWE's current golden girl Kelly has the edge: she's popular, gorgeous, enthusiastic about wrestling and, perhaps most importantly in WWE's jagged political environment, well-liked backstage (Randy Orton brought an avalanche of heat onto himself when he harshly and needlessly criticised aspects of her personal life in his now infamous interview with Arizona's Real Rock Radio Show). She also hasn't had the championship very long at all, having won the title on the June 20th edition of Monday Night Raw after a fan vote awarded her a WWE Divas Championship shot.

Conventional wisdom tells us WWE will want to give her some more time on top. But is it really that simple? I don't think so. Indeed, I fully believe former women's champion Beth can win the title off the former bikini model from Florida at the pay-per-view.

Here's why. First of all, while Kelly has taken great strides as an in-ring performer, there are still big question marks hanging over her in-ring ability. For example, her (mercifully short) match with Brie Bella at WWE's spectacular Money in the Bank pay-per-view was one of the few blights of an otherwise fantastic card. Botched moves, mistiming, a distinct lack of fan reaction... make no mistake about it: the match was a shambles.

Indeed, the match was so awful that, in a rather unprofessional move, the Bella Twins took to Twitter to snap back at critics of the match, even taking a few shots at the TNA Knockouts in the process. For her part, Kelly remained silent, but she could not have been ignorant to the criticism.

Beth, on the other hand, has always been one of WWE's better female performers. Learning her trade on the indies, including a stint in Allison Danger's Shimmer promotion, she's vastly superior to the current crop of divas who always try but never really deliver the goods in the ring. She has often been compared to Chyna in her run (the Glamazon character is almost certainly inspired by Chyna, and Beth, like her predecessor, also showed up in the Royal Rumble one year), but people tend to forget while making the comparison that Phoenix is actually a far more competent and smoother wrestler than Chyna ever was. She's a notch above most of the other performers in WWE as well, sans Nattie, perhaps.

Indeed, I personally thought her matches last year with Laycool, including an enjoyable Extreme Makeover match with McCool at the Extreme Rules PPV, were some of the best women's matches in WWE since 2002 when fine wrestlers like Molly Holly, Jazz, Victoria (now Tara in TNA) and Trish Stratus were dishing out great matches on a regular basis. Kelly has no such track record—her in-ring work is patchy at best. In a division that has matches often filled with botched moves and miscues, centering the division on a good in-ring general like Beth may appeal to WWE management. After all, Beth is far better at carrying clueless opponents than Kelly is and will likely work far better with the likes of Nikki and Brie Bella than Kelly has.

Similar to Kelly, Beth also has her vocal supporters backstage: in a July interview with GQ Magazine, current WWE star CM Punk singled out Beth for praise and claimed she was a woefully under-utilised diva who WWE wasn't doing enough with. Friends in high places may be of great aid to her in the tumultuous WWE political environment. Maybe Punk, or someone else, will put in a good word for her and convince the booking team to give her a shot on top.

There's also the fact that Beth is one determined lady. As someone who struggled her way up from the indies and then faced serious and painful injuries, including major reconstructive knee surgery that kept her out for five months in 2010, as well as having faced an often apathetic booking team, Beth has earned her place in the upper echelon of WWE's women's division—and she knows it. After viciously attacking Kelly after winning last week's Diva's Battle Royale, she grabbed the mic and triumphantly declared: “Kelly, your days as the perky, cute, blond little bimbo are officially over.”

Talk about making a statement, huh? In fact, it wouldn't shock me if her remarks to Kelly were one of those work-shoot things that WWE have grown so fond of in recent times, with WWE writers trying to tap into some real-life tension (or, what fans assume is a real-life tension) between the women wrestlers in WWE like Beth and Nattie (and the recently departed Gail Kim and Melina) who feel they have paid their dues but are being overlooked for the more photogenic but lesser talent women like Kelly. Interestingly, Nattie herself is doing a similar angle on Smackdown with A.J. Indeed, in the context of the storyline, Beth may have to gain a victory at Summerslam 2011 for the "true" the female wrestlers in the company and score the pin on Kelly.

But perhaps it would be best to end this piece with a word from the woman herself. Speaking to WWE's official website last week, she was asked about her actions but refused to give any straight answers, instead insisting, “You want a real story? Tune into SummerSlam 2011 and watch me win the Divas Championship for the first time."

WWE SummerSlam 2011 Predictions

all photos are taken from wwe.com

The biggest party of the summer—SummerSlam—is only six days away.

This year's event will be the 24th annual SummerSlam. WrestleMania is undoubtedly the top PPV of the year for WWE, and the Royal Rumble has a great gimmick draw to it.

But SummerSlam has a rich history of its own.

This year, the WWE will add to the history of SummerSlam with some good matches, highlighted by the John Cena/CM Punk angle.

Who do I think will win this match? I will give my predictions for that match as well as all the other matches with this slideshow.

There are four matches advertised for the event. They are:

John Cena (c) vs. CM Punk (c)—winner is the Undisputed WWE Champion

Christian (c) vs. Randy Orton World Heavyweight Championship match/No Holds Barred

Sheamus vs. Mark Henry

Kelly Kelly (c) vs. Beth Phoenix Divas Championship match

I would expect the WWE to give Dolph Ziggler an opponent for his U.S. Title at SummerSlam.

I also expect Ezekiel Jackson to take on Cody Rhodes for the Intercontinental Championship at the event.

Divas Championship Kelly Kelly (c) vs. Beth Phoenix
Beth Phoenix became the No.1 contender this past Monday night Raw by winning a diva battle royal.

After the match, Kelly went into the ring to congratulate Beth, but the "Glamazon" had none of that.

Beth assaulted Kelly and claimed that the days of the perky blonde bimbo in the WWE are over.

On Smackdown, Natalya followed suit and did the exact same thing, only it was to A.J. (Kelly Kelly 2.0).

The WWE seems to be pushing their two biggest and strongest divas into power heel roles. One that will see them take over the divas division.

READ : WHY BETH PHOENIX CAN DEFEAT KELLY KELLY

This is most likely being done so that Kharma can return and destroy them.

Since the WWE is pushing the power divas, I see Beth going over in this one.

Winner and new Divas Champion, Beth Phoenix.

Sheamus vs. Mark Henry
Mark Henry has been on a path of destruction on Smackdown.

Henry has taken out the Big Show, Kane and Vladimir Kozlov. Henry issued an open challenge to any superstar who thought they could take him on.

Sheamus took on the challenge and has gone toe to toe with Mark since then.

The WWE has built up Sheamus as a power face and even let him destroy their "big man" Khali.

Sheamus defeats Mark Henry, but I think their rivalry continues.

World Heavyweight Championship: Christian (c) vs. Randy Orton No Holds Barred
Boy has this rivalry been going on for a long time.

Christian finally defeated Orton at MITB to win the WHC, but it wasn't without a predictable finish.

Orton was disqualified and Christian won via the terms of the match. Christian became the first in history to win the WHC via DQ.

This match could go either way.

I would like to see Christian win so that the WHC doesn't get devalued any more than it already has been.

But, can the WWE go against Randy Orton? Orton lost cleanly on Smackdown, which is not a good sign for Christian. Orton losing twice in three weeks? Unheard of.

Then again, this Christian vs. Randy Orton rivalry has gone on for a very, very long time, and I don't no how much more the WWE could add to it to keep it exciting.

Winner and still World Heavyweight Champion, Christian.

WWE Championship Match: John Cena (c) vs. CM Punk (c)
The history of this match is great.

CM Punk challenges John Cena for the WWE Championship in his hometown of Chicago.

Punk wins and quits the WWE, leaving with the WWE Championship.

The WWE then creates a new belt, which John Cena eventually wins.

Now Punk is the WWE champion and so is John Cena. The winner of this match will be the Undisputed WWE Champion.

I can see this match going either way, really.

Can John "Superman" Cena lose at two straight pay-per-views? Cena could win and add to his resume, but what would the WWE gain out of it?

If CM Punk wins, on the other hand, the WWE adds to Punk's fire and fuels the fans' appetite for anything and everything CM Punk-related.

The feud will continue, and maybe Triple H will become more involved in an angle with Punk.

If the WWE wants to make the most money and make the fans happy, then CM Punk needs to win at SummerSlam.

There is one more possibility that I know will not happen.

The WWE has the perfect chance to turn Cena heel at SummerSlam.

John Cena defeating the biggest fan favorite since Stone Cold? That would give Cena so much heat and fuel this rivalry for a very long time.

Add Triple H's involvement, and you have one interesting story line.

But enough of the fantasy land dreams. It is time for my prediction.

Considering everything that I know about this rivalry and the WWE, I have to give CM Punk an edge here.

CM Punk wins and is the Undisputed WWE Champion.

Recap
So far, only four matches have been advertised for this PPV. But I wouldn't be surprised if at least two more matches are added this week—either a tag team title match, a U.S. title match, or Cody Rhodes vs. Ezekiel Jackson for the Intercontinental Championship.

Of the advertised matches, here is who I have winning:

Beth Phoenix defeats Kelly Kelly and wins the Divas Championship.

Sheamus defeats Mark Henry.

Christian defeats Randy Orton and retains his World Heavyweight Championship.

CM Punk defeats John Cena and is the Undisputed WWE Champion.

Notes
John Cena and Randy Orton both lose at a WWE PPV?

Hard to believe, but it makes the most sense this time around. Then again, when does the WWE ever make sense of anything?

Sheamus and Mark Henry will continue their feud after their match, eventually leading to Sheamus' main event push.

Beth wins and starts a "diva uprising" among the "bigger, stronger and tougher" divas.

This is all done so Kharma can return as either a face and destroy them all or as a heel and join them, only to turn on them.
