Finally The Shield has reunited, the much eagerly waited fraction of WWE Universe has returned. Reigns was on a different quest for the past few week's but the rumors was up that the fractions will reunite where the fans were destined to see the The Hounds of Justice again. The their was a doubt when Ambrose and Rollins were having a feud with Cesaro & Sheamus and also Reigns were having a mild feud with The Miz.

Cesaro & Sheamus with The Miz teamed up against Reigns and gave him a 3-on-1 beat-down and gave also a Triple Power Bomb mocking The Sheild signature move. Next week, The Shield made an appearance and attacked them and gave a Triple Power Bomb to The Miz.

This match has got even bigger with the Monster Among Men, Braun Strowman coming in to the picture, when The Shield attacked him. The Miz quickly requested the Raw General Manager Kurt Angle and made it a 4-on-3 match.

Sheamus May Be the Next WWE Intercontinental Champion

WWE's Celtic Warrior Sheamus may be the next WWE Intercontinental Champion as indicated by late WWE Live Event ads. As reported earlier, the vacated Intercontinental title will be granted to one of six WWE geniuses competing for the strap at “Elimination Chamber” on May 31.

Daniel Bryan recently relinquished the Intercontinental Championship during the May 11 edition of “Monday Night Raw” (WATCH) referring to his health issues. Bryan has been out-of-activity with an undisclosed injury which started on April, and taking after a MRI, specialist's are uncertain of when, or if, Bryan will ever return within a WWE ring again.

The IC title will be challenged within the Elimination Chamber itself amid the as of late included WWE Network's Pay-Per-View occasion on May 31. While no wrestlers were reported as contenders for this match, Sheamus has been publicized recently in the upcoming WWE Live Events as "WWE Intercontinental Champion."

While these are just notices and arrangements which can be changed, this can be changed, take note of that a considerable measure of times when data, for example, this appears in ads, for example, Batista, Rob Van Dam, and Chris Jericho's most recent returns.

WWE Should Give Up on Sheamus as a Main Event Star

Sheamus may be competing in this Sunday’s Money in the Bank match for the WWE World Heavyweight Championship, but it’s highly doubtful he’ll leave with the belt.

He’s got no momentum. Nor has he been remotely positioned for a top role. Honestly, it just feels like he is in there to make up the numbers (John Cena or Roman Reigns appear much more likely to emerge triumphant in Boston).

While Sheamus may continue to occasionally dabble in the main event scene, it’s time for WWE to accept that his limitations as a performer mean he will likely never be the main event star it once wanted him to be.

That’s not to suggest the Irish star can’t be an asset to the company—he can be. He’s a very good wrestler, and his matches are often one of the highlights of Raw. His current run with the United States Championship has been perfectly respectable, but it's also been somewhat forgettable.

The problem, however, is his overall act, which hasn’t changed or evolved much over the past few years.

First he was the arrogant loudmouth bully who liked to fight. Then he was the arrogant loudmouth who was slightly nicer liked to fight. This isn’t amazing character development.

Sheamus’ act isn’t really well suited to WWE in 2014. It’s too silly and one-dimensional to be taken truly seriously by fans.

The star may very well have been born in the wrong era; his gimmick and look would have worked well in the WWF of the '80s when larger-than-life cartoon characters where all the rage.

But now it just feels dated and dull.

You could blame the bookers for not scripting a more well-rounded character, but really, if Sheamus were capable of more, wouldn’t we have seen it by now? After all, he’s been on the main roster since June 2009. He’s had more of an opportunity than most to show what he can do.

Most likely, he doesn’t have it in him.

He doesn’t have the relatable, down-to-earth charisma of someone like Daniel Bryan. He doesn’t have Cena’s star power or presence. It’s hard to see him ever getting over hugely with the fans as a babyface.

Sure, he could turn heel—and would probably be better off in that role—but he’d still have the same lingering character problems.

Of course, you could say I’m being too harsh. It’s possible that I am.

Other wrestlers have managed to improve over time and show hitherto unseen talent. Look at Mark Henry’s surprising career revival as a dominant monster heel in 2011 and 2012. The wrestling business can always surprise us.

But as of now, I just can’t see it happening.

Will Sheamus Win The Money in the Bank Ladder Match

A Sheamus reign promises hard-hitting, compelling fights in main events to come. Chest-hammering and jaw-kicking await his challengers.

That physical style makes him an intriguing opponent for Brock Lesnar, should he come back at SummerSlam with his eyes aimed at the world title. There are few Superstars on the roster who could realistically engage Lesnar in a brawl, doing more than surviving against him.

Sheamus is one of them.

Sheamus vs. John Cena (with a Sheamus heel turn) has some appeal as well, as does Daniel Bryan challenging him upon his return from injury. Those two have had stellar matches before (Extreme Rules 2012 in particular), and WWE would have plenty of history to draw on.

"The Celtic Warrior" has also been at the mountaintop before. The company knows what it will get with him as champ.

Although it would be his third WWE title win, Sheamus hasn't held that belt since 2010. There's both a familiarity and novelty about him taking it home once more.

Should Sheamus earn the victory on June 29, he would have to vacate the United States Championship. He has recently upped its prestige by defending it more often than previous champs and bringing his star power to the title.

Having him simply toss it aside in favor of a superior championship devalues the U.S. title.

As WWE champ, he's sure to get additional mic time. His mic work is a downgrade from many of the potential winners at the event. The company doesn't often let Sheamus say more than a handful of words, preferring to let him just ball up his fists and get to work.

It's harder to do that with him at the top spot.

Cesaro and Sheamus In A Very European Fight

The WWE wants to push Cesaro as a top singles talent. They are also keen to revive the reputation of the WWE United States Championship, which spent far too long lying dormant around the waist of Dean Ambrose.

A perfect strategy has quickly emerged. The first step was to put the belt on Sheamus, who is a solid talent capable of working at main event level. The second was to place Sheamus in a feud with Cesaro.

The seeds of this feud were sown on Tuesday's episode of Main Event, in which the two men showed great ring chemistry in an outstanding non-title match. It was a brutal contest, heavy on trading strikes and high-impact grapples.

The double count-out finish suggests there is more mileage in this pairing, and a match at Payback would really help the prestige of the U.S. title. These men are perfect in the ring and could produce an instant classic match.

WWE Raw Result 2/24/14: Christian vs. Sheamus

Both men still winced from their battle inside the Elimination Chamber.

Christian smacked Sheamus in the mouth which only served to enrage the powerhouse. Christian tried to smash Sheamus' leg into the ring post, but the Irishman instead cracked Christian's face into the metal.

"Captain Charisma" stomped, struck and headbutted his enemy, powered by a new intensity.

He controlled the match until an errant crossbody had him wobbly. Sheamus pounded his knee into Christian's chin before delivering his trademark forearms to the chest. He clamped on the cloverleaf too close to the ropes and couldn't hit White Noise.

When it seemed as if both wrestlers were too drained to even stand, Christian went for one last flying move, and Sheamus greeted him with his boot.

Christian and Sheamus carried the intensity of the Chamber match into this one, each Superstar giving an effort one would expect on a pay-per-view.

Christian's heel turn has not equaled many wins, but it sure has led to some thrilling bouts. This one is his best work in a long while, and Sheamus' Brogue Kick ranks among the best of his career.

WWE can feel confident about pitting these two against each other in the future.

WWE Smackdown 2/21/14 Result: Sheamus vs. Christian

An excellent, hard-fought main event to cap off Friday's show.

Christian is a natural heel, and his work is stronger when he is in that role. His opponent, Sheamus, is one of the better babyface workers on the roster, and the two Superstars have solid chemistry with one another, as evidenced by this and prior matches.

Could Christian have used a victory heading into Sunday? Yes. But at the same time, the emphasis for the heel turn was the frustration he was experiencing following the series of losses he has collected since returning from injury, so it works in that context.

The win gives Sheamus the opportunity to have the spotlight on him, something that has not really happened since returning at the Royal Rumble.

A quality main event from two respected pros.

WWE Raw Results 2/17/14 Randy Orton vs. Sheamus

Randy Orton had to bail often as the fight began. Sheamus met him each time he returned to the ring, overpowering the world champ.

That was true even after Orton rammed Sheamus into the ring post.

"The Celtic Warrior" went for his Brogue Kick but caught only the top rope. Orton used that moment to pounce on his foe, hitting him against the ring post once more.

Stomps and headbutts followed.

Sheamus responded by launching himself shoulder-first into the champ. The brawl moved outside, and Orton slammed Sheamus through the announce table.

The referee reached a nine-count before Sheamus rolled back into the ring, more punishment awaiting him.

Sheamus charged back, slugging it out with Orton and smashing his chest with forearm shots. He blocked an RKO attempt before hitting three consecutive backbreakers.

The Shield attacked just as victory seemed certain for the Irishman.

John Cena, Christian and Daniel Bryan joined the fray. The Wyatt Family soon followed, the ring soon a mess of flying fists. Raw closed with everyone still brawling.

Result: Sheamus wins via disqualification.

WATCH: WWE Raw 2/17/14 (Full Episode)

The intense, dramatic match would have been a fine way to close out Raw. WWE wisely went with the "throw everyone in the ring and watch them fight" method instead.

The collision fans pined to see between The Wyatt Family and The Shield finally happened.

Merging it with the Elimination Chamber foes' own brawl added to the chaos and highlighted the overlap between the two stories. The Shield still have ties to The Authority. Cena has issues with The Wyatt Family.

Fans will be wondering if any of that has an effect on the Chamber-match outcome. Even if it doesn't, ending Raw with such chaos was a fun way to go.

WWE Raw 2/18/13 Result: Sheamus+Jericho+Ryback vs. the Shield

The Shield is live on Raw for the first time, trying to live up to an incredible performance at Elimination Chamber. This one was just as intense with the Shield really showing themselves to be major players.

They didn't just make a good showing. There were no moral victories. They actually pinned Jericho after a really intense back and forth match. Jericho had Ambrose in the Walls when Rollins came flying in with a knee to the temple off the top rope. That was all she wrote for Jericho, and for the second night in a row, the Shield announced themselves as legitimate WWE superstars.

Not "superstars." Actual superstars. If you catch my drift.

Key Quotes: "There's a zealousness to every attack."—Michael Cole.

"You can never catch your breath against the Shield." —Cole.

Grade: B+. Another really good match. One day we are going to see a Sheamus-Roman Reigns match that is really, really special. They seem to have a good chemistry. By chemistry, I mean they appear willing to beat the hell out of each other. If this six man is run back at WrestleMania 29, I'll be pretty happy.

Why the Rumored Sheamus vs Randy Orton at WrestleMania 29 Is Compelling

Tons of potential World Heavyweight Championship matches have been rumored for WrestleMania 29, and one of those bouts would pit Randy Orton against the man who held the world title for seven months in 2012, Sheamus.

According to PWInsider.com (via WrestlingInc.com), current creative plans call for “The Viper” and “The Great White” to collide with the title on the line at the biggest pay-per-view.

This rumor has been floating around for a while now, and it’s gotten plenty of different reactions, everything from outrage to happiness to indifference.

It seems, though, that much of the very vocal Internet fanbase doesn’t have a ton of interest in seeing Sheamus vs. Orton again—"again" being the key word here.

We’ve indeed seen Orton and Sheamus feud multiple times. In 2010, they faced each other for the WWE Championship both at the Royal Rumble and SummerSlam.

That’s why many think that Orton vs. Sheamus: Part Three (or Part Four, depending on who you ask) at WrestleMania 29 wouldn’t be all that compelling.

But it actually would be.

The last two feuds between the two weren’t all that great, but look at the circumstances surrounding both of those rivalries.

One happened when both men were heels and Sheamus had barely been in the WWE for six months. The other happened only about six or seven months later when Sheamus was still a newcomer and Orton had only just turned face.

A lot has changed since then.

It’s been well over two years since Orton and Sheamus have had a legitimate rivalry against one another, and things are much different now than they were in mid-2010.

Sheamus vs. Randy Orton: SmackDown, May 18, 2012 (Watch)

Sheamus has evolved into arguably the WWE’s No. 2 babyface, and he’s made some drastic improvements in the ring over the last two years. In fact, he’s now one of the company’s better in-ring performers.

In particular, Sheamus has a ton of chemistry with none other than “The Viper.”

They’ve crossed paths plenty of times over the years, but the last time they had a singles match, they absolutely tore the house down in a nearly 30-minute match that was one of the best TV bouts of the year.

You can’t create the chemistry that guys like Orton and Sheamus have with just any two stars, and no one really knows if any of the other rumored WrestleMania World title matches would involve two guys who can put on a show in the ring.

Other potential world title matches are certainly intriguing, but Orton vs. Sheamus would be for the simple fact that it’s a rivalry between two great in-ring workers who have fantastic chemistry with one another.

Not only that, but they also happen to be two of the WWE’s most over superstars, and one of them, Orton, is expected to turn heel during this rivalry.

Fans have been begging for Orton to stop coasting by as a babyface, and in order for him to do that, they want to see him go back to his heel persona that made him the WWE’s clear-cut No. 2 star for a four- or five-year span.

It looks like those fans will get their wish when Orton goes bad by turning on a man who just so happens to be one of the WWE’s top faces in Sheamus.

We can complain about a lot of the things that the WWE does wrong, but how can we argue with a storyline that would finally turn Orton heel, have him face another top star and likely put on a great match on the grand stage of WrestleMania?

Sheamus vs. Orton may not go down as the best rivalry ever, but with a heel turn likely to motivate Orton for the first time in a while and Sheamus continuing to impress, there are certainly worse routes to go.

“The Viper” vs. “The Great White” is only not compelling if you don’t like seeing two great performers feud with one another.

Otherwise, a rivalry between Sheamus and a newly-turned heel Orton should be the icing on the cake of what is shaping up to be a loaded WrestleMania card.

What Sheamus Can Do That Stone Cold Steve Austin, Hulk Hogan and Others Couldn't

Sheamus is one of the best performers in wrestling who can play both a heel and face who is a draw.

Fans debate and formulate a lot of rankings. Best in-ring performer. Best on the mic. Best entrance. Best heel or best face. How about talking about a current WWE star who can really play both heel or face?

Chris Jericho, Triple H and CM Punk are some names in the modern era that play both babyface and heel roles well. They might enjoy or stand out better as one or the other, but they can be a valuable draw as either.

Daniel Bryan became a surprisingly good heel. I always knew he would be a good heel and suggested for months before it happened that he needed to take on a rabid, vicious, stiff heel character who can brawl or beat you on the mat technically. One similar to Chris Benoit in his prime (leave the jokes alone).

I didn't think he would sell me as a heel who was the cocky piece of crap that he became before the YES chants led to him being loved. When he was a terrible boyfriend to AJ Lee, he was a solid heel to pay to see get beat on.

If anything Bryan still needs to work on his babyface role being marketable. His merchandise is a big sell, but I don't know if he's been given the opportunity with his character to be a babyface people really want to pay to see win. I think he's got great chants, the best in-ring performer to many hardcore fans, but there is still much growth to sit back and enjoy watching.

Sheamus has proven a lot in a few years. He came in and had a similar welcome to critical fans as Ryback did in 2012. Ryback was pushed as the all mighty good guy and Sheamus as the baddest man since Tyson. Many at first, myself included, felt Sheamus quick push from ECW right up to facing off with John Cena was too much too soon for someone not worthy.

He proved us wrong. His attacks on Triple H and Jerry “The King” Lawler were well done. Well-timed and booked. He even got whatever honor there is in being the one to retire Jamie Noble before he took a full-time backstage role.

2009 to 2010 saw Sheamus as a true heel. Not a cool heel. Not a goofy heel. A heel. In every since of the word. He looked like someone easy to hate while intimidating. He's big. Looks and can act violent. He's a believable Irish tough guy.

In the same award of how good of a heel Sheamus quickly developed in is the same on how amazed I was on the organic and successful nature he became a face.

It wasn't forced by WWE and it wasn't rushed by fans. We got to see Sheamus battle many of WWE's top faces. Fans waited long enough to start warming up this genuine tough guy and didn't cut him off any valuable feuds with faces that seemed to be in line. His face turn was real and on time.

Now as a face, he's over. I don't particularly care much for him as a face. I don't hate him, but I don't go crazy when he comes our or deem his segments as destination, must-see television. But I'm not supposed to. He isn't marketed to me.

Sheamus looks like something out of a comic book when presented in the good guy light. Kids enjoy him. They like the way he talks. The fact he can pick up Big Show. He's a prototype for a top babyface on the Smackdown brand.

Sheamus being able to legitimately get over as both a top heel and top face with less than five years experience in WWE is pretty remarkable. Look at how many greats can't say that.

Stone Cold Steve Austin was perhaps the biggest face ever in wrestling. While his legacy isn't harmed, many remember the terrible attempt at heel run in 2001.

Hulk Hogan is a babyface all day. He might want to be the cool heel to make himself feel 20 years younger, but the fact is the machine of New World Order made him a heel. I'm not taking away any success he had as a heel, but his heel run also played off decades as the ultimate face.

Hogan was shock value. It would be same as if John Cena became booked as a heel.

Many will say, “What about Randy Orton?” To me, Orton is proven to be a great heel cause that's his natural calling. As a booked babyface he gets cheers from the women who find him to be their ideal guy to run away with. What else does he do? He slides around on the mat like a face. His face work is too repetitive for me. He can't push the bad guy in him aside cause that's what he truly is and wants to be.

Sheamus has filled the roles well and doesn't have a long WWE resume. Sheamus has been able to make his look work in his favor in both good and bad guy capacities. His accent in his favor for both good guy and bad guy promos. His physicality both in a bully mentality and a defend against all evil superhero kinda way.

He isn't the only one to hold success on both sides of the fence.

CM Punk has shown us he can do both.

Chris Jericho plays both well and played both well back when he had less television years of experience on him as Sheamus does right now.

The Undertaker before becoming such a novelty was able to play both roles well. Huge fan favorite face, but I think some of his heel work in 1998 and 1999 where he's basically portrayed as the devil was phenomenal supernatural bad guy stuff.

Point is, look at the company Sheamus holds with those who can do what he's doing. All those who hold legendary status. Sheamus has a long way to go. Many more WrestleMania moments and title reigns before entering any levels of Jericho or Undertaker.

In some regards I want to view Sheamus similar to Batista. Right now, I think that's the closest comparison. Sheamus is 34, he still has time to push past Batista's level. I hope he does.

Take what we've been given so far to help foresee what the future could hold. At the very least, fella, appreciate the talent the “Great White” has and his success in whatever role he's been put in.

When Will CM Punk & Sheamus Lose Their Championships?

315 and 183. Several numbers that seem to have nothing in just the same as one another. Be that as it may at this time they mean every last item for the a few Superstars sitting on the WWE.

As of this composing, CM Punk has been WWE Champion for 315 days, and Sheamus has been Universe Heavyweight Champion for 183 days.

And then the timekeeper continues ticking.

To be respectable, I for one did not anticipate either man's rule to keep up this extended. It's not as if it wasn’t conceivable—both gentlemen are above and beyond fit for of conveying the gold and being respected as convincing champions.

In any case not, one or the other cinch has been kept for this sum of time in a while, particularly without one of the titleholders being named John Cena.

Nonetheless, as we all know, only in light of the fact that you are the top fella does not mean you need to be the champion. This thought dates once again to the tallness of the State of mind Time, when WWE emphasized some of the most gigantic names that the industry has ever perceived.

Undertaker, Shawn Michaels, Triple H, The Rock—all WWE Legends, and every one worthy of the prevailing occasion on any given night. At the same time when Stone Frigid Steve Austin came to capacity, there was suddenly an additional hugely attractive talent who was particularly over.

Was he WWE Champion? Obviously. Anyhow, did he should be? Not under any condition.

It foremost for Austin to expect the gold to remember create his legacy, but in terms of his for the most part ubiquity and esteem to the fans, every last trace of the fellow had to do was actually appear and they were upbeat. He was in such appeal, that he require not curry endorse with the swarm by being the WWE Champion. His matches still denoted something; his manifestations were still foremost.

In reality the same would be able to quite well be expressed with respect to any of the most gigantic names that WWE has processed through the years, incorporating John Cena today.

John is still the appearance of the group, but when its all said and done does not require the championship to keep up that status.

CM Punk and Sheamus, additionally, were both instantly raised in the eyes of the fans when they won their titles. Punk was sizzling and Sheamus was getting more blazing, but winning the gold was a proclamation by the WWE that every Superstar was additional critical now beyond they were earlier.

Supposed they were great and valuable heretofore? Here was the association's official stamp of support, a comment of understanding by Vince McMahon himself.

Snappy send 315 and 183 days later separately, and both Superstars are still reveling in their rules at the top of the championship store. Following so much time then again, the issue ends up being: Who will possibly unseat them for the titles?

On account of the Excellent White, Sheamus can be tested at the upcoming Hellfire in a Cell by the turning around Huge Indicate, who has chosen that he needs the Planet Title back yet again.

However he is the Globe's Most imposing Contender and not too extended in the past was in a system with John Cena and CM Punk, countless fans are not precisely sold on him strolling at a distance from the pay-for each-view with the championship.

The explanation behind this is that whatever how antagonizing Demonstrate is or how exceptional and commanding that WWE depicts him to be, at the finish of the day he is still the Vast Demonstrate.

You know, the fella who was the vast loveable titan, constantly had a grin on his appearance, pandering to the younger fans? But also we should not neglect the way that his win-misfortune record is not precisely the stuff of legend. The fellow has been bound by unequivocally about most living breathing souls, and now fans are almost always asked to accept that he will unequivocally steamroll over the man who has kept the strap for almost 200 days?

For CM Punk, the possibility of confronting off in opposition to John Cena at Heck in a Cell appears to be being referred to because of John's well known elbow surgery. His recuperation time has been amply wrangled about, and by this focus we’re either talking an additional week or even a month.

Yet although John is thought to be the fella who will face Punk, the reality is that he still does not require the title with a specific end goal to be pushed as the top Superstar in the community. He has been without the championship for truly some time, and his spot as the prevailing fella has not been influenced to any detectable degree.

It does appear a small odd however that he has not recaptured the WWE Championship by now. When its all said and done, in spite of his interior standing in WWE, we as fans are so utilized to seeing him with that title that the fact of the matter is, he would be able to exceptionally well get it once more at any instant.

Obviously that does not mean he ought to. For me, there is more acting piece in Punk being the champion, more storylines that can advance, rather than John keeping the title. Punk's urgent require for admiration while standing in Cena's shadow is a prime case of this, and the truth of the matter is that Paul Heyman could conceivably not be included if Punk were not the champ.

In any case with the expectation that John Cena is in the picture, Punk's keep on the title remains tenuous at ideal, and totally invariably has. Anyhow I for one think that Punk dropping the sash at Hellfire in a Unit is not the right course to go.

For me, it descends to CM Punk versus the Rock. That is the matchup that such a large number of fans need, and regardless of if he wins or loses, it could be a tremendous feather in his top if Punk does face the Individuals' Champion in a WWE Title match.

The prominent assumption has been that extended title rules are helpful for not just WWE but for the Superstars who wear the championships. It carries a level of validity for them and admiration for the outfit as an entire. CM Punk and Sheamus are the consequence of that idea and I accept that they every merit to keep their titles for to the extent that this would be possible.

315 and 183 days and still counting.

Sheamus/Del Rio Feud Over? Who Sheamus Is Scheduled to Face Next

The previous night at WWE's Night of Champions pay-for every-view, Universe Heavyweight Champion Sheamus effectively safeguarded his title in opposition to Alberto Del Rio, with the Irish star utilizing his Brogue Kick move to completion off his often enemy.

For every the storyline, there had been some remain skeptical about over regardless of whether Sheamus might utilize the Brogue Kick, with Del Rio effectually requesting of to get it restricted following Sheamus utilized the move on his supervisor Ricardo Rodriguez and severely harmed him. Notwithstanding, following an inside examination, SmackDown general boss Booker T turned out unequivocally soon after the PPV match and proclaimed that the finisher was now consummately lawful.

Along these lines, now what's heading off to happen in the middle of Sheamus and Del Rio?

Actually, on today's every day overhaul over at F4Wonline.com, Dave Meltzer noted that the fight amidst the a few looks to be over, with Sheamus moving on to combat The Vast Demonstrate, who has been outstandingly nonattendant from WWE Television in familiar times:

The Sheamus vs. Alberto Del Rio program, at least for TV, ended with that Brogue kick for now.  The plan was for Big Show to return to start a program with Sheamus tonight, which at least today is scheduled to be lead to a Hell in a Cell match on 10/28.

This article is welcome news for the aforementioned who have developed tired of the extended-running Alberto Del Rio/Sheamus quarrel. Straightforwardly, finally this rather average system finished, having overwhelmed the blue mark for matures now (the several have been fighting following April).

Be that as it may, regardless of whether The Great Indicate is the best adversary for Sheamus—who is still working to be the No. 1 babyface star the team plainly prefers him to be—remains to be perceived.

An inconsistent laborer, who in his 13 years with WWE has gone with just about the people and won well-nigh each major title, Great Demonstrate would not be able to be the new rapid heel that will get Sheamus enormously over with the masses.

World Heavyweight Champion Sheamus vs. Alberto Del Rio : Night Of Champions 2012

World Heavyweight Champion Sheamus and No. 1 contender Alberto Del Rio are positively not strangers in fight. Over the course of the past few months, The Terrific White and The Mexican Noble have enduringly crossed ways, with essentially each occasion unavoidably close in outright uproar.

Now, falling off Sheamus' questionable triumph over Del Rio at SummerSlam and The Mexican Noble's triumph over Randy Orton on the Aug. 24 scene of SmackDown to over again lay guarantee to No. 1 contender status, the several Superstars are prepared and prepared afresh to duel it out for championship gold During the evening of Champions. At the same time, can The Fantastic White keep championship gold around his waist without the Brogue Kick in his stockpile?

Sheamus—who has kept the World Heavyweight Title after his important 18-second WrestleMania triumph over Daniel Bryan with the Brogue Kick—has demonstrated to be one of the most obviously predominant titleholders in an extended time, racking up win following win on huge arranges with the title gold on the line.

At SummerSlam, however, Sheamus may absolutely well have had the fortunes of the Irish on his side, in light of an errant shoe toss via Ricardo Rodriguez. When Del Rio's private ring commentator took off his dress shoe and hurled it into the ring—apparently so his executive could wield it as a weapon in opposition to The Fabulous White—Sheamus captured the remote question, and smacked his adversary with it.

The Celtic Warrior then planted Del Rio with the Irish Condemnation Backbreaker, a move that would be able to well have indicated the close for The Mexican Priveleged person. Anyhow when the constantly-craftiness Del Rio put his leg on the rope at the same time as the a couple-check, the smart Fantastic White was equipped to thump it off the rope before arbitrator Mike Chioda might see it. The oversight by Chioda advanced to Sheamus' title maintenance and, soon following, a formal challenge by Del Rio.

Delivering a speech to the scenario on SmackDown the accompanying week, General Director Booker T reasoned that Del Rio and Randy Orton could face one another in a fantastic blue mark prevailing occasion with the opening to come to be the No. 1 contender on the line. With Sheamus gazing toward on toward ringside, The Mexican Blue-blood mastered WWE's Summit Predator, securing Orton the horrifying Cross Armbreaker and with a fresh spin demonstrating his backbone within the squared round.

While its verifiable that he's had his openings in the past and fail to go the distance, never has Alberto Del Rio looked as centered as he does now. His exceedingly magnificent triumph over The Viper sent a content to the WWE Universe and to Sheamus that this Del Rio is a larger number of risky than ever heretofore.

Nonetheless, when Ricardo Rodriguez ventured in front of The Fabulous White's Brogue Kick on the Sept. 3 scene of Crude, the impending pay-for every-view match rose to an entire revamped level. Four days later on SmackDown, subsequently of the wounds endured by Del Rio's private ring broadcaster, The Mexican Blue-blood and legitimate direction David Otunga persuaded General Boss Booker T to boycott The Celtic Warrior's momentous finisher! While this positively will compel Sheamus to change his method During the evening of Champions, his newfangled submission move, the Cloverleaf, may still show to be above and beyond his No. 1 Contender had anticipated.

Why Wasn't Sheamus Fired for Shoving John Laurinaitis on Raw?

photo courtey: wwe.com

Last night on WWE's Monday Night Raw, John Laurinaitis told John Cena that if he or anyone else were to lay a finger on him, they would be terminated immediately.

Moments later, Sheamus shoved Laurinaitis on his way to the ring to help John Cena from an attack by Tyler Reks, Curt Hawkins, Titus O'Neil and Darren Young. Michael Cole yelled, "Hey, he just ran over the boss!"

Many fans expected John Laurinaitis to fire Sheamus on the spot. After all, Sheamus "layed a finger" on Laurinaitis by running him over. However, Sheamus was not fired. Instead, John Laurinaitis put Sheamus in a three-on-two handicap lumberjack tag match with John Cena vs. Tensai, Dolph Ziggler and Jack Swagger.

Sheamus has attacked non-competitors in the past. Back in April, Sheamus brogue kicked referee Chad Patton and was later fined $500,000.

The question remains: why wasn't Sheamus fired or even fined for running over John Laurinaitis last night on Raw?

If we re-watch the video of the incident, it looks like Sheamus intentionally shoved Laurinaitis—considering he extended his elbows out to strike Laurinaitis.

Perhaps Sheamus has made a behind-the-scenes deal with John Laurinaitis (like Big Show) to join Laurinaitis' "People Power" crew and is in the process of turning heel.

Since WrestleMania XXVIII, Sheamus has been on the receiving end of some boos from the crowd. Also since WrestleMania, Sheamus has attacked a referee and has had issues with Randy Orton. Perhaps a heel-turn is in Sheamus' future. A heel-turn would probably help Sheamus, considering he has grown a bit stale. How much longer can Sheamus just smile to the crowd and pound his chest?

Maybe I'm blowing things out of proportion, maybe not.
