WWE's Celtic Warrior Sheamus may be the next WWE Intercontinental Champion as indicated by late WWE Live Event ads. As reported earlier, the vacated Intercontinental title will be granted to one of six WWE geniuses competing for the strap at “Elimination Chamber” on May 31.

Daniel Bryan recently relinquished the Intercontinental Championship during the May 11 edition of “Monday Night Raw” (WATCH) referring to his health issues. Bryan has been out-of-activity with an undisclosed injury which started on April, and taking after a MRI, specialist's are uncertain of when, or if, Bryan will ever return within a WWE ring again.

The IC title will be challenged within the Elimination Chamber itself amid the as of late included WWE Network's Pay-Per-View occasion on May 31. While no wrestlers were reported as contenders for this match, Sheamus has been publicized recently in the upcoming WWE Live Events as "WWE Intercontinental Champion."

While these are just notices and arrangements which can be changed, this can be changed, take note of that a considerable measure of times when data, for example, this appears in ads, for example, Batista, Rob Van Dam, and Chris Jericho's most recent returns.
