Everyone was wondering how much time the main event of Fastlane would get, and what the amount of time the Universal title match between Kevin Owens and Goldberg got meant about the outcome.

WWE padded out the pay-per-view (PPV) to the point they were still replaying Seth Rollins & Triple H's segment from Raw at 10 minutes before 11PM Eastern - and that was before they got to the video package for the feud between Owens and Goldberg.

By the time both competitors were in the ring, it was three hours after the show'd started. Everyone was convinced we were either getting a minute long match, or WWE would liberally use the overrun with interference, run-ins and other shenanigans.

KO would string things along/mind games by rolling out of the ring before he and the 50 year old WCW legend even touched. Twice he'd come back through the ropes... then went right back to the floor.

When KO finally signaled for the bell, a familiar tune hit the speakers...

BREAK THE WALLS DOWN!

Chris Jericho walked out on stage, obviously shaking the champ. And you know what that meant...

Spear -> Jackhammer -> new champ

WrestleMania 33 will feature Goldberg vs. Brock Lesnar for the title, and likely Jericho vs. Owens... possibly for the U.S. title.
