Update on Where the McMahon Family Angle Is Going, How It Factors into WMXXX

Just where is the current storyline with the McMahon family going? Many people are wondering the same thing.

Vince, Stephanie and Triple H have been all over WWE television in recent times, squabbling over one thing or another. Stephanie appears to be taking charge of the Divas Division if her recent confrontation with A.J. Lee is any indication.

They've also taken to making poor Vickie Guerrero's life a living hell. Yes, thanks to the McMahon clan, Vickie Guerrero, of all people, is now one of the most sympathetic people on the show.

These segments aren't great (a group hug? Really?) and just feel like filler for the most part. But, per one report, these segments are going somewhere.

Per Dave Meltzer in this week's (subscribers-only) Wrestling Observer Newsletter, things will really get going at SummerSlam and will likely culminate at WrestleMania XXX:

The planned main angle, and it will get bigger as SummerSlam approaches and explode at some point after that for Mania, is the McMahon family angle.

Interestingly, Meltzer also disputed the claims that the USA Network, which airs Raw, is pushing for the family's involvement:

The story that they are back on TV because the USA Network wanted it is really not the case. There have been times the USA Network has wanted Vince back on television, thinking Vince helps ratings, and usually he does, although this latest return has not, given Raw is at lower numbers than at anytime in 15 years...The McMahons are there because it’s what they came up with as the key thing for the next year in creating a Mania main event.

It remains to be seen whether or not the McMahons can churn out the "big summer angle" that fans expect. As Meltzer notes, they aren't really the ratings draws they used to be.

This isn't 1999 anymore. Is it a good idea to expect the family to carry television, and pay-per-view, in the upcoming year?

Why and How It Should Be Punk vs. Cena vs. McMahon in Hell in a Cell

The Hell in a Cell WWE Championship match should be CM Punk vs. John Cena vs. Vince McMahon.

It would technically be a Triple Threat match, but CM Punk can complain and it be pointed out that this is going to turn into a handicap match.

Start this week's Raw off with CM Punk having to make his decision. Send out the text alerts. Promote it on WWE.com. Kick the show off with the decision.

CM Punk gives a typical heel promo about lack of respect. He shouldn't be choosing between Cena, who he's beat several times, or Ryback, who hasn't earned his shot.

McMahon, not happy with CM Punk's soap box speech, makes it a Triple Threat match between Ryback, Cena and Punk.

CM Punk sneak attacks Ryback. Have Ryback win another one of his matches like he does each week. When the match is over and Ryback is doing the "Feed me more" chants, have CM Punk sneak attack him with a weapon from behind.

We finally see Ryback down on the ground. CM Punk needs to really lay it into Ryback with an aggressive beat down. Get the fans chanting for Ryback, but CM Punk keeps mocking them and the assault continues.

CM Punk gets good heat off of this, and the anticipation to see Ryback destroy CM Punk will now build even more.

Ryback is now not medically able to compete at Hell in a Cell. McMahon isn't going to let CM Punk get away with his actions. McMahon enters himself into the match to take Ryback's place.



Vince McMahon sells. Vince McMahon vs. CM Punk drew interest and was entertaining on Raw.  The possibilities of the reckless 67-year-old boss in a violent match like Hell in a Cell with the poster boy Cena at his side and the preacher for respect in CM Punk? Money!

This saves the main event for the next pay-per-view as Cena doesn't appear healthy enough to deliver a one-on-one Hell in a Cell match with the WWE champion.

It is too early for Ryback to be in a match against CM Punk. Last week when Ryback got his hands on Punk, the crowd erupted. It was just enough to feed a little to their appetite of seeing Ryback get his hands on the champion.

Now, you make them even hungrier to see it by CM Punk taking Ryback out of the equation.

When the pay-per-view comes, you have several possibilities.

Ryback obviously should make an appearance and attempt for some kind of impact in the match. Ryback breaking a piece of Hell in a Cell is appropriate to his character and booking.

My best scenario: Ryback tries to interfere, and here comes Brock Lesnar as the ace up the sleeve. Lesnar helps Punk retain the title. This sets the ground work for a Survivor Series confrontation of Paul Heyman guys vs. Vince McMahon guys.

The best part is, the roles are all true to life. Cena and Ryback are McMahon guys. Punk and Lesnar are Heyman guys. It appeals to the causal/younger audience for the names involved. It appeals to the smart fans, who appreciate the basis for it all.

Other wild scenarios:

If you want the belt off CM Punk, Vince does all the work, but Cena gets the pin. CM Punk cries conspiracy.

If you want the belt off CM Punk but want to do something Attitude Era style, McMahon wins the belt. Hey, it's something that would happen in the new video game. That seems to the top promotional priority these days.

You really want to go crazy, Vince turns on Cena. For whatever reason, I don't really know, but I'm sure these kinds of statements with no logical explanations go on in creative meetings, so you can't fault me for presenting it.

I stand by Ryback eliminated from the equation. Enter McMahon. Ryback and Lesnar both interfere.

Theodore Long shocked the world two weeks ago when he quit as the Assistant General Manager of SmackDown. He went on to shake the very foundation of the Land of the Extreme tonight when he was named the new General Manager of ECW.

Much to the surprise of former GM Armando Estrada, Long was shown his new office as the night began, as per the orders of WWE’s Board of Directors. The powers-that-be had concluded that since Estrada was now an active member of the ECW roster and had signed himself to a highly lucrative contract, he could no longer be the man in charge.

The new General Manager wasted little time in doing what he does best – making ground breaking decisions and matches. Long told Estrada that because of McMahon’s Million Dollar Mania, he financially could not carry the heavy contract of the former GM-turned-Superstar, but would give Armando the opportunity to prove himself in a match against United States Champion Matt Hardy.

Hardy proved why he carries the prestigious gold, defeating Estrada with a Twist of Fate. It was then that GM Long delivered his own twist to Estrada, calling for a second match right then – prompting Long to usher out Colin Delaney – a Superstar who had felt the wrath of Estrada for many weeks. Delaney pinned Estrada, perhaps delivering payback for weeks of hell.

Adding insult to Estrada’s loss, the GM fired him on the spot, telling the former GM and overpaid Superstar that he would let him wrestle, but not as a contracted Superstar – having to earn his contract back – the same treatment Estrada had given to Delaney.

The new ECW General Manager made sure his first night in the Land of the Extreme was a memorable one, showing the Superstars of ECW that he is a man of his word. Long’s track record at the helm of SmackDown should be more than enough on his résumé, and if his first night on ECW is any indication, Long has not lost the touch that made him a fan favorite. General Manager Theodore Long looks to stay in charge of ECW for a long time to come, but with the upcoming Draft, will Long’s first appearance on ECW be one of his last?

After having a victory over Randy Orton at One Night Stand,Thriple H now have to defend his title at Night of Champions where all the title in WWE is on the line and guess what Thriple H has to defend his title against John Cena.

Both Jeff Hardy and John Cena went out of One Night Stand victories and belived that they should be given a WWE title opportunity against Thriple H at Night of Champions. Mr. McMahon set John and Jeff in a match that they have never been befor which means John Cena vs Jeff Hardy and the winner will face Thriple H at Night Of Champions.

This is John Cena's 4th oppurtunity for the WWE title, Will cena win the title this time.

WWE Chairman Mr.McMahon has hi own style when it about money that why he gave away $ 1 million of his own money to the Rabobank Arena to show his appreciation to loyal Raw viewers.

In front of an eager crowd, Mr. McMahon announced the beginning of “McMahon’s Million Dollar Mania” giveaway contest.

“Maybe I’m a little eccentric, or maybe I just want to attract more viewers, “Americana” and how “snobs don’t understand that.”

During his speech, the Chairman also described how viewers could capture a share of his fortune. He explained that, to win, viewers will be required to register their name, address and phone number by following the proper links on WWE.com. Once they’ve done that, assuming they’re 13 years of age and older and are citizens of the United States, they’re eligible.

Contestants will then simply have to watch Monday Night Raw or check with WWE.com to learn the code needed to win. After that, they just need to make sure they’re available to answer the phone at the number they submitted between the hours of 9 p.m. ET and 11:15 p.m. ET. If their number is dialed, they will be asked to supply the winning code in order to collect their share of Mr. McMahon’s $1 million.

The fact that WWE employees are ineligible to win didn’t stop both Superstars and Divas alike from admiring the cold, hard cash as they made their way to the ring. Even Cryme Tyme scoped out the greenback bundles, but Shad & JTG were quickly scared off by the vigilant security.

Mr. McMahon unleashed a shocking proclamation — he’s bringing back the WWE Draft.He then proceeded to outdo himself.

Mr. McMahon declared that he will handing out $1 million of his own money live on Raw.William Regal’s forced departure from Raw,Mr. McMahon says William Regal’s displeased fans as William turningthe lights off during the matches,and WWE Superstars offered their own recommendations. Mickie James proposed allowing schools to win a WWE Diva for a day and JBL recommended giving away squares of the crimson-soaked ring mat after he and John Cena’s First Blood Match at One Night Stand.

As talking about the WWE Draft Mr. McMahon declared that audience at Denver’s Pepsi Center that he will give away $1 million of his own money live on Raw.

How could the Chairman give away his own money?

One user said, "I don't know why he's giving it away ... I just know that I want it!"

Another pondered, "Maybe there's something that McMahon isn't telling us. People don't give away that much money just for nothing."

But at last Monday night Raw, less than a week for Royal Rumble 2008 where Rainbow haired Jeff Hardy and Third-generation Superstar Randy Orton will face each other for the WWE Championship Title the twist at this Monday night Raw made the Third-generation Superstar or the Legend Killer Randy Orton and the WWE fans that Jeff Hardy will take Orton's WWE Title away. Will Jeff's dream come true at this Sunday at Royal Rumble.

But WWE Chairman Mr. McMahon knows that Jeff and Orton will bring hell out of each other at Royal Rumble. So, Mr. McMahon wanted both the superstars to shake each other hands before Royal Rumble.

I (Shawn the writer) think Third-generation Superstar Randy Orton has underestimated Jeff Hardy because Orton has faced many former WWE Champions like Jon Cena , Shawn Michaels, and Triple H ,Orton thought that Jeff has never won WWE Champion Tile and he will never Orton thought Jeff as a piece of a cake but as Raw went week by week Jeff got Closer and Stronger for and to the WWE Championship Title.

Randy Orton said “I’m glad you did it Jeff, You proved to me you are a threat. You did something to me last week that no one has ever done before. I can’t close my eyes without seeing the image of you crashing down on me play in my head. ... You won't win the WWE Championship this Sunday. But you've already earned something much more important – my respect.”

First Mistake: Orton underestimated Jeff Hardy

Second Mistake: Jeff went from Armageddon and defeated Triple H and earned a chance at Royal Rumble

One year has not yet ended then too Mr. McMahon went to the most popular tv show "The Celebrity Apprentice." hosted by Donald Trump,do you remember what happend at Wrestlemania 23.So what do Donald Trump has to say about his victory at Wrestlemania 23 and what happend at the show.

“I invited Vince to come on because I loved my victory over him at WrestleMania 23, and I thought maybe I’d take it to the next step,” Donald Trump continues. “Vince is the greatest showman there is. Whether you like him or not, Vince is a smart guy. He’s cunning, he’s sharp and I did listen to his opinions.”

During the show Donald Trump did not left any chance praising him self.

“If I walk into a restaurant and he walks into a restaurant anywhere in the world, I can tell you who gets the best table … and it’s Trump.”

But Mr. McMahon has to say some thing else

“You could tell there was a bit of tension in the board room,I’m accustomed to board rooms, I have a public company. I hold a grudge and [Trump] knows it. Notwithstanding my short hair, I am still … far more handsome than Donald.”

This two mans boiling ego's cant be handled by the contestants of the show and they have to face the greatest challenge

But Donald Trump has to say about this is

“A long, long time ago, Mr. McMahon came up with the phrase ‘You’re fired,’”

The WWE Chairman Mr.McMahon said . “Trump is smart; he copied from the best. So, he copied me.”
“I do it a little differently than he does,” Mr. McMahon explained, before his eyes suddenly filled with an unusual rage that drew several large veins upon his forehead. “I say: YOU’RE FIRED! “I mean it,” he stressed. “[Trump] does too, but the person being fired feels a little different having been fired by me as opposed to Donald.”

Mr. McMahon said“I really wouldn’t call this Battle of the Billionaires 2,Donald and I were on the same side … which is a very interesting combination considering the cunning marketing skills that we have. I would suggest the two of us would make quite a tag team champion.”

It was like Thriple H meet his 3 families on Raw's 15th Anniversary celebration.3 famailies were The McMahon Family, Evolution and DX.

The frist reunion was with Mr. McMahon family as he was celebrating with is family and with his bastered child Hornswoggle, The Game Thriple H crashed in and ruined their plans as we know that Mr. McMahon is The Games favoraite passtime in WWE.

Linda McMahon was not present because she has “gastrointestinal problem” Mr. McMahon explained and their was WWE Divas comming one by one in the ring it was really cool,it was fun for the Game and the fans in the arena.

The Secound reunion was with The Game Thripls H old team-mates of Evolution- Triple H, Batista, Flair and Orton which was a bit serious.The Game (Thriple H),The Animal (Batista),Nature Boy (Ric Flair) remaind friendly but The Third Generation Superstar (Randy Orton) was not happy with this reunion, because as we know that Randy Orton was in a match with Ric Flair which includes that if Ric Flair's “win or retire” only for Ric Flair forced by McMahon.

Orton's ego made him go more further at that time he challenged his team-mates of Evolution in a match which includes

Thriple H,Batista,Ric Flair vs Randy Orton,Edge,Umaga.


Randy Orton's team got disqualified which made Thriple H,batista , Ric Flair rejoice.

Hey Thriple H night is not over till now,As we know that it is gonna be Shawn Micheles vs Mr. Kennedy at Armageddon Mr. Kennedy made sure that Shawn will make at Armageddon, but their comes his old DX partner Thriple H.
