Should Hulk Hogan Return to the Ring Against Bully Ray?

Hulk Hogan is arguably the biggest icon in professional wrestling history. It can also be argued that Hogan is and will forever be the biggest attendance draw in the history of sports entertainment. Despite reaching the top of the mountain many times throughout his historic career, Hogan may not just yet be ready to call it quits inside the ring.

Instead, the 59-year-old may bring the magic of "Hulkamania" back to TNA one last time.

With TNA's biggest pay-per-view of the year arriving in October, Hogan could find himself in another match at Bound for Glory against current World Heavyweight champion Bully Ray. The biggest question heading into Bound for Glory remains unclear.

Should TNA allow Hogan to step back inside the four-sided ring and compete against Ray?

This could certainly stir up a massive debate, as both sides of the argument could develop very good answers on whether Hogan should wrestle once more. Currently, Hogan is at the tail end of his career. While you shouldn't expect the biggest name in professional wrestling to wander into the sunset so quickly, it is quite clear that Hogan's body may not be able to take one more match.

However, a return to the ring by Hogan could generate more buzz about TNA, both good and bad. It would create excitement among wrestling fans who want "Hulkamania" to battle it out one more time. A return inside the ring could also disgust those who are tired of seeing Hogan in the spotlight.

In hindsight, Hogan should stay away from the ring and continue his role as the general manager of Impact! Wrestling. Despite the fact that his last match resulted in a loss to Sting last year at Bound for Glory, Hogan could certainly see another day to battle inside the ring. Hogan's top priorities should be his health and helping grow TNA to the next step as a premiere company professional wrestling.

Yet for Hogan, time may be quickly running out for one last chance at a final run competing in the ring, as his age progression and health may be a deciding factor in the future.

For TNA, the decision to put Hogan back in the ring is a difficult one. Despite all the attention the company may receive, it would only be a short-term situation before fan interest wanders after Hogan's potential final match. Meanwhile, for Hogan, should he really put himself in the spotlight, or save a final match for more meaningful occasion? It is a decision that wrestling fans await.
