A week ago, three hard-hitting Qualifying Matches stated that Braun Strowman, Elias and John Cena would step -in the Men's Elimination Chamber Match on Sunday, Feb. 25, and the winner of this match will go ahead to challenge Brock Lesnar for the WWE Universal Title at The Grand Daddy show of them all, WrestleMania. The Elimination Chamber Men's Match is turning out to be a test of endurance as all the three qualified men wait to enter the steel structure to battle for their chance at the redemption.
Tonight the three men who already qualified for the Elimination Chamber match will fight again in a Triple Threat Match as the winner will be the perilous contest’s final entrant, therefore earning a clear chance to challenge Brock Lesnar for the Universal Championship at Wrestlemania. Who will earn the honor tonight will it be Braun Strowman, Elias or John Cena.
Still, there are three slots left in the match, to which WWE.com has confirmed that Roman Reigns and Bray Wyatt will face each other one-on-one on tonight's episode of Raw where the winner will get a spot in the Men's Elimination Chamber Match.
With a little assistance from The Miztourage, The Miz stood tall after facing Roman Reigns in his Intercontinental Title rematch on Raw last week. This determines that The A-Lister will head to WrestleMania with a title. Since Reigns will be facing Wyatt tonight, will we see another challenger for the "must-see" Intercontinental Champion?
After Jason Jordan's injury at Royal Rumble which cost them the WWE Raw Team titles, Cesaro and Sheamus won over Seth Rollins and became four-time champions.
Tonight on Raw, Rollins and Jordan will have a chance to regain those titles when they confront The Bar in a Raw Tag Championship rematch. Would Jordan be able to find victory alongside The Kingslayer?
The show starts as Bray Wyatt makes his way to the ring. So does Regins.
Match 1: Bray Wyatt vs Roman Reigns. (Winner will get a spot in the Men's Elimination Chamber Match)
Both men go head to head with each other, Wyatt holds Reigns in a headlock in the centre of the ring. Reigns break and then hold Wyatt in a headlock. Wyatt breaks it and attacks Reigns and controls the match and goes for the pin but only being unsuccessful. Matt Hardy was seen watching this match very closely.
Wyatt then again holds Reigns in a headlock, Reigns then attacks Wyatt with three clotheslines to Wyatt in the ring. As Wyatt rolls out the ring, Reigns goes for a double leg kick at the ringside, Wyatt delivers a clothesline to Reigns.
After the commercial, Wyatt was seen controlling Reigns the ring as Hardy still watches this match backstage. Wyatt hits Reigns with a running elbow. "The Eater of Words" the goes for a suplex from over the ring, Reigns hit Wyatt with a headbutt and then converts it in a sit-out power-bomb. Later, Reign converts the Superman punch to a German suplex. Reigns then hits Wyatt with a Superman punch and tries to pin Wyatt being unsuccessful. As Reigns goes for a spear from the ring side, Wyatt holds Reigns and attacks with Sister Abigail and then tries to deliver another Sister Abigail - Regins brakes it and hits Wyatt with a spear to gain victory.
Winner: Roman Reigns.
After the match, Matt Hardy appears in the ring and then hits Wyatt with a Twist of Fate.
Backstage: Jason Jordan and Seth Rollins were seen talking to each other about their upcoming tag team titles match for later tonight.
Match 2: Finn Balor and Karl Anderson vs The Revival.
As Balor enters the ring with Karl Anderson and Luke Gallows, The Revival music hits and they suggest making this one on one match a tag team match. Balor chooses Anderson as his tag partner. Dash Wilder from The Revival and Anderson starts the match.
After the commercial, Scott Dawson from The Revival was seen attacking Balor in the ring. Balor quickly jumps and tags Anderson. Anderson attacks Wilder with a flying elbow and tags Balor, Balor then hits Dawson with Coup de Grace and pins for victory.
Winner: Finn Balor and Karl Anderson.
Backatage: Sasha Banks was seen watching how she lost her match to Asuka. Bayley interprets Banks and they talk about how to defeat Asuka, which ended in a disagreement between them.
Match 3: Drew Gulak and Tony Nese vs Cedric Alexander and Mustafa Ali.
Nese and Ali start the match, Nese quickly tags Alexander. Ali then tags Gulak. Frequent tags were made. Alexander then attacks Gulak with Lumbar Check and pins him for victory.
Winner: Cedric Alexander and Mustafa Ali.
In the ring: Kurt Angle makes his way to the ring and announces the participants for the Women's Elimination Chamber match who are Sasha Banks, Bayley, Mickie James, Mandy Rose And Sonya Deville. Kurt Angle makes is clear that Nia Jax will have a match at Elimination Chamber where she will face Auska and if she wins then she will be added to the championship match at Wrestlemania.
Alexa Bliss enters the ring and talks about Angles poor decision-making skills as her title is on the line at the Elimination Chamber match and the men's don't. Angle then asked the WWE Universe that do they want to see the first ever Elimination Chamber match and they cheered.
Match 4: Asuka vs Bayley
The match starts Asuka was seen holding Bayley in a chin lock, Bayley breaks the lock. Asuka then kicks on the spine of Bayley, Bayley then quickly throws Asuka outside the ring. Both the women were seen attacking each other outside the ring.
After the commercial, Bayley was seen hitting Asuka with a suplex and tries to pin her only being unsuccessful. Auska then uses her body as a weapon and kept on attacking Bayley. Auska goes over the ropes and jumps on Bayley as Bayley moves away. Auska rolls out of the ring, as Bayley jumps on her - Bayley gets hit with the knee to the face. Both women enter the ring, Bayley rolls Auska for the pin as Auska rolls out. Auska then holds Bayley in a cross arm-bar to which Bayley taps.
Winner: Asuka.
After the match Asuka shook hands with Bayley and then walks away.
Match 5: The Miz vs Apollo Crews ( Winner will qualify for the Elimination Chamber match)
Before the match, The Miz grabs the micro phone and talks about how 'Awesome' he is as he has won the Intercontentinal Championship on the 25th Anniversary by defeating Roman Reigns and he will go to Elimination Chamber and will win the Men's Chamber match - So that he can face Brock Lesnar and defeat him to become the first ever Intercontentinal Champion and Universal Champion at the same time.
Crews enter the ring with Titus O'Neil and Dana Brooke. After the commercial, both men exchange punches, Crews then attacked a double leg kick to The Miz who was about to jump on him. Crews then lifted The Miz in a should-press position and slam him down in the ring.
The Miz then tries to hit Crews with Awesome Clothesline, Crews holds The Miz and swings and slams him to the centre of the ring and tries to pin him as The Miz rolls out. The Miz then hits Crews with a Skull-Crushing Finale and pins him.
Winner: The Miz.
Backstage: Rollins was seen with Angle and Jordon. Jordon was still not medically cleared for the match tonight and Reigns quickly step up to take his spot for the match later tonight.
Match 6: Cesaro and Sheamus vs Seth Rollins and Roman Reigns (WWE Raw Tag Team Championship match)
Sheamus and Rollins start the match, Sheamus then tags Cesaro. Cesaro attacks Rollins. Rollins quickly tags Reigns, they attack Cesaro together. Sheamus throws Rollins out of the ring and attacks with an Irish backbreaker. Cesaro then throws Reigns out of the ring.
After the commercial, Sheamus was seen attacking Reigns in the ring and then hold him in a chin lock. Sheamus tags Cesaro, Cesaro then attacks Reigns and tries to pin him as Reigns rolls out.
Cesaro then tags Sheamus, Reigns then hits Sheamus with a Superman punch. The Jordon walk out to Rollins and helps him to get the tag. Reigns then tag Rollins. Sheamus too tags Cesaro, Rollins attacks Cesaro and tries to pin him as Sheamus breaks it. Regins then advise Jordon to walk off as they don't need any help from him. Just then The Bar tries to attack Jordon, just then Jordon attacks Sheamus. Which resulted in the referee to disqualify the match.
Winner: The Bar - Cesaro and Sheamus via disqualification.
Backstage: Rollins had an argument with Jordon where Rollins was furious on him. Angle came to the rescue and separated them.
Match 7: Nia Jax vs Local Competitor.
Jax quickly attacked her opponent and pinned for victory.
Winner: Nia Jax.
After the match, Jax said that she will defeat Auska at Elimination Chamber for sure.
Match 8: Sonya Deville vs Mickie James
Deville and James went head to head with each other. James slaps Deville and tries to pin her at the early stage of the match as Deville kicks out. James then kept on attacking Deville. Mandy Rose then tries to enter the ring which caused a distraction for James and Deville took advantage of it and attacks James. James then gained control and rolled with a pin over Deville.
Winner: Mickie James.
Paige and Mandy Rose then attacked James. Alexa Bliss came toward the ring and pulled James away from the ring as no one has a clue. WHY???
Match: Braun Strowman vs. John Cena vs. Elias (Triple Threat match)
Before the match starts, Elias cuts an amazing promo. Cena's music hits as Elias performs his song. Strowman enter later.
As the match starts, Elias rolls out of the ring. Cena goes to attack Strowman and ends up lying down on the ring as Elias watches from outside the ring.
After the commercial, Elias enter the ring, after he sees Strowman he runs away - Strowman runs to get him. Back on the ring Elias and Cena team up and attacks Strowman together. Cena and Elias the together throws Strowman to the steel steps, Cena then picks up the steel steps and attacks Strowman. Elias too hits Strowman with his guitar.
Later in the ring, Elias and Cena square off as Strowman is left lying out of the ring. Elias then holds Cena is a chin lock, as Cena breaks it he delivers shoulder tackle to Elias. Out of nowhere Strowman enters the ring and attacks Cena. Elias quickly pins Cena for victory.
Winner: Elias.
After the match Strowman slams Elias - walks away - comes back - and slams Cena - and then slams Elias - raise his hands - and asks the WWE Universe for one more.
Strowman picks up Cena and slams him - Then he picks up Elias and slams him again - and left the ring.
