Can Big Show's Heel Run Finally Put Him on Top?

Big Show is WWE's resident giant, as well as one of the most experienced performers on the entire roster.

Having been in the business for almost 20 years has given Big Show the chance to learn from some of the best in the business, as well as do something Andre did not get to do very often, face people his own size.

Despite his stature and ability, there has never really been a time when Big Show was the top dog, whether it be in WCW or WWE.

Sure, he has held world championships in the past, but he has never been on the level of The Undertaker, John Cena or Hulk Hogan in terms of star power.

For the last couple of years, we have seen the Big Show that gives his hat to little kids and smiles as he walks to the ring.

Now we are seeing the Big Show that probably should have been here the whole time. This is a more heelish and intense Big Show, and that is exactly what someone like him needs to be.

Watching Show dismantle Brodus Clay while also fending off R-Truth and Kofi Kingston on Monday's RAW was quite a sight.

Frankly, even though what he did was a heel move, it was refreshing to see. For a long time it has felt like Big Show did not always have the advantage despite his size because he would follow the rules.

Now with Show being willing to take the low road, we have an angry giant who is far more dangerous than a happy giant.

With this persona, it is possible that Big Show could find the success he could never find as a babyface.

As a heel, we will no doubt see Big Show going after WWE's faces like Randy Orton, John Cena, Christian and possibly Rey Mysterio if he ever makes it back to the roster.

Many superstars have been stagnant for a long time, only to have their career re-energized by a heel turn which took them to the top.

Big Show's rise will not be an easy one, as there are plenty of critics that believe he does not deserve to be at the top for one reason or another.

I think Big Show has proven his worth to the company several times over by being able to do physical things no other giant has ever done.

Big Show is not going to be able to wrestle forever, so now is the time when he needs to grab that brass ring.

Do you think Big Show is going to be able to use his heel turn to elevate himself or will he fall flat?
