As a two time world champion Christian is one of the top guys on SmackDown. He along with Randy Orton, Sheamus, Mark Henry and Big Show have made up the main event scene for months now.
Christian has been on a bit of a downhill slope since losing the world title. He has not been getting many wins and his character is portrayed as a whiny sore loser.
Something that could help push Christian back to the top could be forming a heel stable. This has worked in the past as a way to elevate stars.
Randy Orton did very well as the leader of Legacy with Cody Rhodes and Randy Orton. While together, the three of them held the tag and WWE titles at the same time and all three men were always involved in the main angles.
Edge also found success as the leader of La Familia with Chavo, Hawkins and Ryder. Edge actually helped to elevate Chavo as well as himself as Chavo's best push in years was while in this stable.
The Nation of Domination is a much older example of a heel group elevating someone. The Rock found his footing on the mic and in the ring while under the tutelage of Ron Simmons.
There are several superstars on SmackDown who could also benefit from being in a heel group with Christian.
Wade Barrett is one superstar who was slated to win the WWE title but never got there. He has been on an upswing lately and seems to be on the verge of a push—but as of now, he is still not in the title picture at all.
Tyson Kidd has been floundering since being broken up from DH Smith. Kidd's lack of a real feud or angle is not helping him either. Pairing him up with Christian could help the former tag champ get back in the groove, get some wins and maybe even go after the IC title.
Brodus Clay has been getting the video package treatment in anticipation of his reintroduction to the WWE fans. He could be the enforcer of the group and give them some muscle to back up their mouths.
There are plenty of people who would benefit from being in a stable, but none more so than Christian. What do you think: Could Christian become a world champion again with the help of a heel stable?
