• Seth Rollins being cleared for WrestleMania is not 100%. WWE is said to have several back-up plans in place, and even if Rollins is cleared, it will likely be for a segment & brawl with Triple H - not an official match.
• That’s likely one of the reasons the company hasn’t started Mania programs for Finn Balor or Samoa Joe.
• While the exact length of the Hardys deal with Ring of Honor isn’t known, Wrestling Observer reports they are with the promotion past the dates Matt mentioned in his Saturday night promo. Dave Meltzer says it will keep them from going to WWE “anytime soon”.
• Undertaker is likely for Raw tonight to start his WrestleMania program with Roman Reigns.

Seth Rollins has not been cleared to compete at any WWE live events this weekend

Seth Rollins has not been cleared to compete at any WWE live events this weekend after re-injuring his knee! More update will be given on the coming Monday Night Raw (Watch full episode) .



Rollins right knee was again injured by Samoa Joe’s surprise attack on last week's Raw episode. As the attack was decided by the attack occurred as Rollins was heading to the ring to finally confront Triple H, who cost The Architect a WWE Universal Championship opportunity back in August.

Rollins commented on the injury via Twitter, posting a photo of his knee undergoing examination.

WWE Rumor: Samoa Joe call-up, Baron Corbin push, Lana wrestling, more!

- There’s word going around that Samoa Joe is main roster bound, with Royal Rumble being the latest he’ll show up.

- Expect Baron Corbin to move intoSmackDown’s title picture in the first half of 2017.

- Lana is scheduled to wrestle in tag matches at a couple NXT Florida house shows this weekend, reportedly to work on fundamentals for occassional spots and bumps - not because she’s going to pushed as a wrestler.

- Pro Wrestling Sheet reports the Total Divas graphic which left Naomi out and caused a stir online was an oversight by the WWE graphics department which was fixed by the time SmackDown’s replay was posted to Hulu.

- Paige posted a cryptic Tweet which read “When you do nothing wrong but things still bite you in ass for no reason. Always fun haha.” yesterday, leading to more speculation she’s in trouble with WWE again just as her latest suspension is almost up. Then she deleted it.

Samoa Joe’s WWE Status & Potential Debut Date Revealed

Fans who have been anxiously foreseeing the WWE's introduction of long-term wrestling veteran Samoa Joe might not need to hold up any longer. As indicated by Reddit user Falcon Arrow, a confirmed WWE insider, the previous ROH and TNA champion wrestler has marked a multi-year contract with WWE.

As per Falcon Arrow, the plans for Joe debut at the finish of the forthcoming NXT Takeover: Unstoppable occasion. Plans could change, however we could be seeing Joe on the WWE Network in a matter of days.

Also, much like Kevin Owens, who was asked — and obliged — to slim down before making his TV big appearance in NXT, it looks just as Joe has been getting fit as a fiddle too.

Samoa Joe's Title Shot Came at the Right Time for TNA

Samoa Joe has become the “fortunate one” for Total Nonstop Action Wrestling.

Joe earned his No. 1 contender status by teaming up with Kurt Angle and being victorious over Magnus and Ethan Carter III. He made Magnus, the current TNA World Champion, tap out to his rear-naked choke. The two will collide on March 9 at Lockdown, where they’ll do battle inside a steel cage.

This will be Joe’s first one-on-one title shot on pay-per-view since taking the title from Angle in the 2008 Lockdown, where, incidentally, he also won his first TNA world title. Now, more than ever, TNA needs Joe to ascend to the main event.

Samoa Joe’s title shot came at the right time for TNA.

The wrestling league needs to make a splash big enough to stay relevant in the wrestling world. They’ve been experiencing a bad streak of luck in the past few months.

AJ Styles, their main attraction since the company’s inception, is officially gone from TNA. And The Icon, Sting, could be on his way towards WWE, per Bleacher Report's Sharon Glencross (via Bryan Alvarez of F4W Newsletter).

Kurt Angle, suffering from a knee injury, will most likely be taking time off, according to PWInsider.com (via Nick Paglino of WrestleZone). Former champions Bully Ray and Mr. Anderson are still embroiled in their feud since the Aces & Eights split up.

To make matters worse, there aren’t any face wrestlers being inserted to face Magnus. Current X-Division champion Austin Aries is busy defending his title. James Storm and Gunner are too occupied fighting each other. Former champions Bobby Roode and Chris Sabin are still heels—not the best moneymaking options to turn them face. Their other big headliner, Jeff Hardy, hasn’t been seen since his “walkout” storyline.

This leaves Joe, their only option for this marquee match and for a possible lengthy feud. Why Joe and Magnus? Frankly, the pairing is as reliable as ever.

The two have history as tag team partners, enemies and allies as members of the now-defunct Main Event Mafia. Plus, Joe still has drawing power. He appeals to the more adult demographic in the audience and still gets a big reaction at TNA crowds.

The tapings in England showed that fans love Joe. Come Lockdown, when he takes on Magnus, it will show again.

Samoa Joe got his title shot at the right time for TNA wrestling. The company needs him desperately to perform at the same level as he once did. The ball is in your court now, Samoa Joe; your move.

CM Punk Has Cleared the Path for Samoa Joe Jump

With Daniel Bryan and CM Punk at the steerage of the boat, the Ring of Honor insurgency old-fashioned at WWE is absent one more key piece.

For the final seven years, TNA has had one of the most unbelievably desired adolescent stars in the wrestling business in Samoa Joe. While Joe had early achievement with TNA, his present position with the team is as a midcard contender.

That would be bad enough for one of the most obviously electric entertainers in the business today.

In light of the fact that partners and preceding ROH co-laborers Daniel Bryan and CM Punk are at the top of the load in WWE, the plan of escaping and moving toward getting buried like WWE did with ECW and WCW specialists is not reasonable anymore.

When asked about escaping to the WWE, Joe informed AllWrestling.com concerning his connection with TNA and how he sees the business:

"I’m still with TNA; we have a fantastic financial agreement. The relationship between me and TNA has always been great. I’m the type of person that really lives in the moment. I don’t put too much into trying to build scenarios that are bad. As long as I get an opportunity to wrestle and wrestle great people then I have the greatest job in the world."

Joe sounds remarkably steadfast as of this moment to TNA, but the absence of a championship prod or any similarity of a course makes the plausibility of bouncing to WWE to work a system with associate ROH veterans appear substantially more possible.



However Joe is no doubt near the larger part of down to business wrestling fans who feel WWE is just prodding the green assemble of champions while there is a down time before WrestleMania, there might be more to it this time.

I suspect that if WWE demonstrates a certifiable devotion to CM Punk and Bryan following they authenticate they can draw, Samoa Joe could have no decision but to attempt his hand with WWE.

With every last trace of the ROH talent living up to expectations Florida Championship Wrestling and Superstars now, envisage the matches Joe, Punk and Bryan would be able to have.

Specialized wrestling would not be able to be dead.
