When you're wrestling a guy nicknamed "The Devil's Favorite Demon," injuries come with the territory. On the August 4 edition of Raw, Roman Reigns battled Kane in a Last Man Standing match. The former Shield member needed six staples to close up a cut on his forehead, per WWE.com.

The two had an extremely physical match, which Reigns won with a massive Spear.

Reigns and WWE physician Chris Amann posted photos on Twitter of the aftermath:

If anything, this will only add to the aura of Reigns. The company is going to great lengths to establish him as the next huge star in the company, and getting cut open the hard way will only make him look tougher in the eyes of fans.

This injury shouldn't affect WWE's plans for him at SummerSlam, either. The pay-per-view is a little less than two weeks away, which should allow Reigns more than enough time to fully recover.
