WWE Saturday Morning Slam 4/20/13 | Watch
WWE Saturday Morning Slam, Vortexx on The CW, starts with the announcer announcing that there is a special announcement from the Saturday Morning Slam's General Manager Mick Foley regarding the main event match. The camera cuts to Mick Foley's office where we see Kofi Kingston and Justin Gabriel in a conservation where Foley says that Kingston and Gabriel is the two best jaw-dropping high-flying Superstars in WWE at present, which led both the high flyers thinking to have a tag team match but Foley had a different approach for them. He made a match between Kingston and Gabriel saying that it will be a great to see both the high flyers in action one on one.
Saturday Morning Slam cuts to a promo showing Kingston and Gabriel high flying skills. Then Gabriel enter's then Kingston, match starts with great agility as both the high flyers had great momentum. Dolph Ziggler in the commentary area talks about Kingston's high flying moves and how he is impressed by him as Gabriel had Kingston in a hand lock. Both high flyers updating each other in various hand lock move. Both men were seen having same moves on each other at the same time which excited the crowd. Kingston tries for Trouble in Paradise form the ropes, Gabriel avoids it. Later Gabriel was seen climbing the ropes for his finishing move 450 Splash, Kingston rolled away.
Saturday Morning Slam cuts to 'Be A Star' video where Big Show, David Otunga and Stephanie McMahon was seen advising kids to say "No" to bullying.
Back to in ring action. Many near falls was seen and the crowd shouting "Kofi". Gabriel locks Kingston in a head lock move converts it to an hand lock, Kingston gets up and rolls Gabriel and fight's back with running spring take-down to an Boom Drop. Gabriel blocks the Trouble in Paradise and delivers and flying spring body cloth-line to Kingston, later Kingston takes advantage to the momentum and pins Gabriel with an SOS.
Both men conclude things in an hand shake and Gabriel walks away as Kingston celebrate his win.
Backstage Natalya was seen taking an interview of Epico, Primo and Rosa Mendes where they talk about how they are dis-respected for everyone specifically Natalya, The Great Khali and Hornswoggle. Natalya suggest that why don't they take them in an mix six tag match next week.
Saturday Slam ends with a short video of The Great Khali.
