John Cena and Brock Lesnar competed in an absolutely brutal match at Extreme Rules on Sunday, but the WWE is already splitting the duo up.
For once in my life, I actually want the WWE to continue a feud.
How can the WWE prep for a WrestleMania match between The Rock vs. John Cena for a whole year yet be done with a potentially better feud between Brock and Cena in less than a month? It’s sheer madness.
With news getting out about a possible backstage tantrum thrown by none other than Lesnar, the end of the road for this feud may only be temporary. The WWE must revisit this feud.
F4Wonline.com (subscription users only) is reporting about the situation that arose after John Cena made his speech at Extreme Rules:
Backstage Lesnar apparently made a huge scene as he was upset at Cena's post-match speech. He felt WWE officials had double crossed him to make Cena look good and Lesnar weak. According to reports Lesnar was tearing things up and flipped out on Marc Carano who is the assistant to John Laurinaitis. Lesnar went on about how things were a mess in WWE. There is speculation that some or all of Lesnar's backstage tantrum was orchestrated by Lesnar and top WWE officials to work the rest of the roster.
With everyone in the WWE Universe and backstage convinced that officials and Lesnar are really at odds, now is the time to bring Cena back into the picture somehow and make him fight for the company.

There was talk that Cena may have pulled the top rope down when Brock went to attack Cena in their Extreme Rules bout, and that move almost sent Lesnar’s knee into the operating room.
WWE dodged a bullet there, but it may have been the seed that will continue to grow this feud. As much as I like Triple H, I would be more interested to see a second and third match between Cena and Lesnar over anything with Lesnar and Triple H.
John Laurinaitis is a great heel GM and Lord Tensai is great as his mercenary, but the fans would much rather see another Lesnar vs. Cena match than anything that will come out of the main event at Over the Limit.
The WWE Universe wants more Cena vs. Brock. Give it to us.
