John Cena is about a month away from celebrating his 10-year WWE Anniversary.
During that time, Cena has been pitted up against some of the WWE's finest.
However, there are only a select few that helped mold Cena into the star he is today.
Like him or not, Cena will go down in history as one of the biggest stars, if not the biggest, in WWE's history.
Cena has been the face of the company since it transitioned from the "Ruthless Aggression" Era to the PG Era and managed to transcend his character to fit the WWE's needs.
Ultimately, without these feuds Cena may not have been able to shine and show the WWE that he is here to stay.

1. Kurt Angle
Kurt Angle was John Cena's debut opponent.
Granted, Cena did not beat Angle, but he proved he could go in the ring with the Olympic hero.
At the very least, this match made fans aware of John Cena.
2. Brock Lesnar
Cena's first feud with Lesnar was epic.
At the time, Cena was a bit of a heel and using his rap gimmick.
Meanwhile, Lesnar was on the top of his game as the Undisputed WWE Champion.
This John Cena was far different from the Cena that Kurt Angle faced. He not only had a voice, but rocked the mic and was solid in the ring.
Lesnar had his hands full when it came to Cena, but ultimately overcame "The Dr. of Thuganomics".
3. Edge
Edge was John Cena's longest running feud.
These two fed off of each other extremely well and continually tried to one-up one another.
Ultimately, Edge considered Cena one of his greatest rivals and their storied feuds should go down in history as one of the best.
4. Randy Orton
If Edge was Cena's longest feud, Randy Orton was arguably a close second.
Orton's feud was different though, as Orton played a perfect heel or villain to Super-Cena.
In the end, this feud probably lasted longer than it should have; however, there really wasn't a bad match between them.
5. Batista
Batista may never be looked at as the greatest wrestler ever.
However, he does have size and intimidation on his side.
For those two reasons alone, Cena was able to look like a stronger competitor each time he beat "The Animal".
