As the chairman of the board and CEO of the WWE, it seems reasonable that Vince McMahon would make his opinion known on all things that go on in the company and make the final decisions on big projects throughout the year.
However, while he often makes good decisions for the fans of the WWE, he has made just as many mistakes. McMahon winning the WWE and ECW championships, along with the 1999 Royal Rumble, are particular examples of this.
Therefore, with backstage news revealing that McMahon is upset, it's interesting to note what he feels needs improving on.
From the Wrestling Observer Newsletter (via WrestlingInc.com):
Speaking of Vince, he now wants more rehearsals at WWE events and wants the writers and producers to communicate more. There were a lot of fingers being pointed at the problems at Extreme Rules including John Cena's promo and Brock Lesnar almost getting hurt as well as the timing issues on RAW.
As a fan who viewed Extreme Rules on Sunday night, I thought that the pay-per-view was a great success. The matches between Jericho and Punk, Sheamus and Bryan and most definitely the classic bout between Cena and Lesnar contributed to this success.
While I didn't have a problem with the promo that was cut by Cena at the end of the show, the incident in which Lesnar took a nasty fall over the top rope to the floor could have definitely been worked through better.
The Wrestling Observer Newsletter adds that Vince is upset with the WWE.com team for failing to cover the meeting he had with New Jersey Governor Chris Christie during the WrestleMania 29 press conference.
While we all have different opinions on McMahon, it does seem ridiculous that WWE.com wasn’t there to cover the meeting between he and Governor Christie earlier this year.
What do you think the WWE could do to avoid these problems?
