Bautista's 1ST MMA Opponent Replaced, Arrested Week Before Fight

Bautista's truly first master MMA battle was practically scrapped this week when his rival was captured for a probation violation ... be that as it may TMZ has studied arrangers have dug up a swap contender unequivocally at the last possible second.

The battle has been in the works for months ... the ex-WWE champ was slated to get in the ring with Rashid Evans (not the one from the UFC) at a CES MMA occasion in Fortune, Rhode Island.

In any case a rep for the occasion tells us ... Evans was scratched from the battle card when he was captured for violating his probation some time the previous week ... and then afresh, it appeared to be destiny was determined to avoid Bautista's MMA job from steadily moving toward getting started.
