"The story starts when little traveler Sean (Josh Hutcherson) accepts a coded pain sign from a secretive island where no island ought to exist--a place of abnormal frames, mountains of gold, savage volcanoes, and something greater than one shocking secret. Unable to stop him from going, Sean's brand new stepfather (Dwayne Johnson) unites the mission.
