CM Punk Makes an Indy Show Appearance (Video)

According to wrestleheat.com, CM Punk made his first appearance at a wrestling show since his WWE contract "expired."

According to the article:

"The former WWE Superstar cut a promo putting over Colt Cabana’s tag team partner Gregory Iron, a wrestler dealing with Cerebral Palsy. He did not come out with the WWE Championship."

The appearance took place Saturday night at an AAW wrestling card in Illinois. Punks' appearance happened after longtime friend Colt Cabana's scheduled match. Once Cabana finished his match against another Indy wrestler, he got on the mic and began ranting about pursuing your dreams no matter what.

About two minutes in Cabana leaves the ring and goes backstage, bringing out WWE champ CM Punk. The crowd exploded as Punk came to the ring and began his own speech.

It seems Punk is still with the WWE, since this is his first appearance without the belt. This could have been done out of respect for the WWE organization.

Sorry for the short article, but I think the video speaks for itself. Enjoy.
