Where is Bobby Lashley?

Where is Bobby Lashley?
Everyone wants to know where Bobby Lashley is. MMA fans want to know about his whereabouts since he canceled a fight against Eddie Sanchez at the last minute. The official reason given is "personal reasons", which always raises question marks and eyebrows. Wrestling fans want to know where Bobby Lashley is as well. With his MMA career not taking off as well as he had hoped, many wonder if a return to professional wrestling is in the works.

Where is Bobby Lashley, the Fighter?
For those of you that don't already know, Bobby Lashley was scheduled for a fight on July 29, 2011. He was set to fight Eddie Sanchez at Titan Fighting Championship 19. Earlier in the week, though, Bobby Lashley canceled on the fight, citing personal reasons. CEO Joe Kelly stated that it wasn't the right time in his life for another fight. As of right now, Bobby Lashley has been rescheduled for another fight on August 26, 2011. No opponent has been named yet. The fighter made a vague comment about not training properly before fights, which leads many to believe that he doesn't feel that his MMA career is going in the direction that he had wanted. If there's doubt in his mind, it's only natural for people to wonder where Bobby Lashley is in his career.

Where is Bobby Lashley, the Wrestler?
If you're wondering where Bobby Lashley's wrestling career is, the answer is still the same. It's still on hold while he pursues a career in MMA. Bobby Lashley knows that he can always fall back on professional wrestling some day. His youth isn't going to be here forever, so he might as well try his hand at fighting while he can. If he hits another roadblock or a wall, then the Colorado native will more than likely look back at the squared circle. After all, he still has the looks that professional wrestling likes. He also still remembers how to work scripted fights.

Bobby Lashley's Return to Wrestling?
Bobby Lashley left professional wrestling in February of 2010. It was an understandable move because he needed to focus his entire attention to MMA if he was going to find success in that field. With that understanding, he was able to leave TNA on very good terms. If Bobby Lashley does return to professional wrestling, you can bet that he will more than likely dial up Dixie Carter and the other people in TNA management. The company seems like a better choice for him since he might not want to jump directly into the waters again. Besides, if he was ready to jump from TNA to WWE, a phone call would be all that it takes. Vince McMahon was disappointed that a potential star left his company, but he'll think more about business in this particular instance. He knows that a guy like Bobby Lashley can still produce money for him. He'll know where to find him when the time comes.

Closing Thoughts
I supported him like I did for other wrestlers who decided to leave the business to try their hands at something else. I'll also support him if he chooses to come back to wrestling.
