Scheduling Conflict Forces Postponement of Andrade vs. Kenny Omega Match at AEW WrestleDream 2025


AEW's upcoming pay-per-view, WrestleDream 2025, scheduled for October 18 in St. Louis, will proceed without the anticipated grudge match between Andrade and Kenny Omega. According to Dave Meltzer in the latest edition of the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, Andrade is unavailable for the event due to prior commitments. He is booked to challenge Xavant for the WWC Universal Championship at the World Wrestling Council's "Halloween Wrestling Xtravaganza" in Puerto Rico on the same date. As a result, AEW fans will have to wait for a future event, such as Full Gear or Worlds End, for this high-profile clash.

Despite this setback, WrestleDream 2025 boasts an exciting lineup, including:

  • AEW Women's World Championship: Kris Statlander vs. "Timeless" Toni Storm

  • AEW TNT Championship: Kyle Fletcher vs. Mark Briscoe
