AEW Dynamite's 'Title Tuesday' Draws Record-Low Ratings Against WWE & TNA Showdown

The October 7, 2025, episode of AEW Dynamite, branded as "Title Tuesday," faced significant competition from WWE's NXT Showdown, which featured a special crossover with TNA Wrestling.

According to Nielsen ratings, NXT Showdown averaged 625,000 viewers and a 0.12 rating in the 18–49 demographic. In contrast, AEW Dynamite drew 321,000 viewers and a 0.07 rating in the same demographic, marking the lowest viewership and demo rating in the show's history.

This decline coincides with Nielsen's implementation of its new "Big Data + Panel" methodology, which has impacted viewership metrics across the industry. Despite the challenges, AEW's leadership remains optimistic, noting that the inclusion of HBO Max viewership data in future Nielsen reports may provide a more comprehensive picture of the show's audience.

The ratings dip raises questions about AEW's position in the wrestling landscape, especially as WWE continues to expand its global reach and partnerships.
