Show starts with a promo was played from last week where Shane
McMahon and Daniel Bryan having disagreement with each other. After the promo
Kevin Owens and Sami Zayn was seen distributing pamphlets at backstage saying “No more Shane”
AJ Styles music hits and he makes his way out to the ring and
he spoke about his match with Jinder Mahal at Clash Of Champions and how
important it is for him to win.
It was shortly interpreted as Singh Brothers came out and
spoke how they were attacked by Mahal after their match last week. Styles told
them to come in the ring as he would hug them. Later, Singh Brothers spoke
about how Mahal always made them felt – a disgrace, and they pleaded to him to
allow them to be in Styles corner at Clash Of Champions.
Mahal’s music hits, Styles attacks Singh Brothers as he knew
it was an set up as they accompanied Mahal at his tour in India (Watch). Mahal didn’t enter the ring but walked away. Style stood in
the ring looking at him as Mahal leaves.
Match 1: Charlotte Flair vs Ruby Riott
Charlotte’s music hits and she makes her way out to the
ring, Riott who was already made her entrance earlier. Promo video played on
the debut of Ruby Riott and her team mates. Natalya joining at the Smackdown
Live announcing team, as she will be facing Charlotte at Clash Of Champions for
the Smackdown Women’s Championship.
Match starts, Charlotte and Riott attacked each other, Charlotte
later threw Riott outside the ring. After the commercial, outside the ring Charlotte
attacked everybody including Riott and her team mates and Natalya too. Natalya
attacked Charlotte and the in ring officials rings the bell.
Winner: Ruby Riott (by disqualification)
As Riott and her squad were attacking Charlotte and Natalya
stood outside the ring looking at it, Naomi came for the rescue along with the
entire Smackdown Live Women’s locker room and Riott Squad ran away.
Match 2: Dolph Ziggler vs Baron Corbin
As Ziggler makes his way out to the ring, Bobby Roode was
seen at the Smackdown Live announcing team as Ziggles and Roode will be facing Corbin
in a triple treat match at Clash Of Champions for the United States Championship
title.
Match starts and both men attacked each other and were lying
in the ring, looking at this opportunity Roode entered the ring and attacked
both the men and the in ring officials rings the bell.
Winner: No winner (Both men disqualified)
Match 3: The Bludgeon Brothers vs Local Competitors
The Bludgeon Brothers
music hits and they make their way out to the ring to face local competitors
and won the match within five-minutes of the match.
Winner: The Bludgeon Brothers.
The Bludgeon Brothers will be
facing Breezango at WWE Clash Of Champions.
Kevin Owens and Sami Zayn makes their way out to the ring
and said they are in a revolutionary movement called “Yep Movement” and they feel that week after week they are punished
and humiliated by Shane McMahon. Owens promised that it is time to stop McMahon
and he declared that it is time to occupy Smackdown Live and called every
Superstar out who support them.
Daniel Bryan comes out as Owens and Zayn thinks that he came
out to support them but Bryan turned it down and said he was also a part of “Yes Movement” few years ago and it was
for the WWE Universe and not only for himself.
Bryan also promised that their match between against Randy
Orton and Shinsuke Nakamura at Clash Of Champions will be fair with Shane McMahon
being the special guest referee, wherein their will be second special guest
referee and it will be Bryan himself.
Match 4: Rusev and Aiden English vs The Usos
Aiden English sang a song for the WWE Universe which he was
about to sing last week accompanied by Rusev cheering him.
The New Day joined the Smackdown Live announcing team as
they will be facing SmackDown Tag Team Champions The Usos, Shelton Benjamin
& Chad Gable and Rusev & English in a Fatal 4-Way Match at WWE Clash of
Champions.
The Usos makes their way out to the ring insulting Rusev
& English, then Benjamin & Gable also made their presence felt and the promised
that they will take the SmackDown Tag Team Titles this Sunday.
After the commercial, Rusev was holding Jey Uso in a bear
hug. Jey tagged Jimmy Uso and Rusev tagged English. With the distraction from Rusev
on Jey outside the ring gave an opportunity for English to attack Jimmy from
behind and pin him for victory.
Winner: Rusev and Aiden English
Backstage: Renee Young was seen in an interview with AJ
Styles where he was attacked by Jinder Mahal.
Match 5: Shinsuke Nakamura vs Kevin Owens
Randy Orton music hits and he makes his way out to the ring,
then the smoothing violin’s music hits the arena - Shinsuke Nakamura makes his
way out to the ring, where Orton was accompanied by Renee Young. Young asked
them about their thoughts on their upcoming match this Sunday. Orton then guaranteed
saying that their opponents at WWE Clash Of Champions - Kevin Owens and Sami Zayn
will be without a job and also mocked them by calling them “Idiots”.
Daniel Bryan joined the Smackdown Live announcing team to
have a close look at this main event match. Owens music hits and he makes his
way out to the ring with Zayn.
Bell rings and Owens attacks Nakamura and hold him in a
head-lock move, Nakamura struggles his way out and breaks it, only to which
Owens delivered a chest-chops to Nakamura. Again Owens holds Nakamura in a head-lock
move and then breaks it by himself and attacks the lower back of Nakamura. Nakamura
quickly turns the attacks and delivers a running knee-kick to Owens at the ring
side turnbuckle.
After the commercial, Nakamura was seen controlling Owens
but it was only for a short while as Owens again gained control over Nakamura.
As the WWE Universe cheered for Nakamura, The King Of Strong-Style quickly gained
control and kicked Owens to his head and attacked him and tries to pin and
ended up being unsuccessful.
Nakamura takes Owens over the ropes for an superlex, Owens
throws Nakamura to the ring and delivers and swanton bomb to Nakamura and tries
to pin but ends up unsuccessful. The referee was attacked at this point of time
by Owens wherein he attacked the referee by mistake as Nakamura dogged his way
out - which allowed Bryan to enter the ring. Orton too entered as the ring and
attacked Zayn which distracted Nakamura, which allowed Owens to deliver an
pop-up-powerbomb and pin Nakamura for victory.
Winner: Kevin Owens.
As Owens and Zayn made their way to the entrance ramp Renee Young
asked them, “What are their thoughts as
this could be their last Smackdown before this Sunday” to which Owens
responded that “No one can remove them
from Smackdown roster, Never”
