The WWE Universal Champion is not to be seen since he
retained his title over Braun Strowman at WWE No Mercy PPV (Watch now). WWE is currently advertising
him for Survivor Series.
On the other hand Dana White spoke about the rumored
super-fight inside the octagon between Lesnar and former UFC Light Heavyweight
Champion Jon Jones.
“Well, Lesnar was still under contract to the WWE until next
August. Who knows what would have happened. I don’t count my chickens any more,
I’ll tell you that. They didn’t want to do that again. You saw what happened
the last time he was under contract (and fought).”
Lesnar currently contract with WWE will end by Wrestlemania
34 and he will walk out the company in a good terms if a new deal is not
signed.
The UFC fans feels that the match between Lesnar and Jones will never take place. Lesnar will return to the MMA promotion for another fight if he wishes to, but the match will not happen until he in a contract with WWE.
UFC President Dana White has gone off the records saying
that he is a good terms with the WWE CEO Triple H but the situation is difficult
with the WWE Chairman Vince McMahon.
Being a WWE Raw Universal Champion we have never seen Lesnar
as a active wrestler on Raw expect the PPV event as he is part-time wrestler.
