As we all know Jinder Mahal recently won the Six-Pack
Challenge match by winning over Dolph Ziggler, Erick Rowan, Luke Harper, Mojo
Rawley and Sami Zayn and become the new No. 1 contender for Randy Orton's WWE
Heavyweight championship.
The Maharaja’s push from jobber to a front line superstar
has shocked everyone. He was already in the making when he was teaming up with
Rusev on Raw and then moved to SmackDown during the WWE Superstar
Shakeup.
If you watch his matches few months back to till date he was portrayed as a competitive heel – which we can see
when he was the last man eliminated from Andre The Giant Battle Royal at
WrestleMania. Later on Raw he lost again on his last match against Finn
Balor.
Mahal’s quick push to the top is surrounded with many controversy.
As some question his sudden physique change and some on his push from mid-card wrestler to a main-event wrestler. But as I see all this talk only helps to fuel Mahal’s
momentum and what if he actually wins the WWE title at Backlash.
