Seth Rollins made his scheduled appearance on Monday Night Raw in Green Bay tonight (Feb. 27, 2017) for an interview with Corey Graves where he promised to address both Triple H and his status for WrestleMania 33 on April 2 in Orlando. He came out with a single crutch, a brace on his knee, limping all the way.
His tone was somber. “It sucks,” he said. “Maybe I deserve this.”
He wondered aloud what he sacrificed to win the WWE championship, having blamed so many others and pointed fingers at everyone other than himself. “I told the world that I didn’t sell out, I bought in. But did I buy in too much? I should have known better, dude. Triple H stabbed me in the back, big surprise.
“I should have known better.”
When asked about missing WrestleMania again, Rollins got emotional.
“Right now, it’s not looking great. It doesn’t look like the doctors are going to clear me in time for WrestleMania.”
That elicited a boo from the crowd.
Then Triple H’s music hit.
He walked out with a broad smile on his face, a microphone in hand. When he got to the ring, he pointed out Samoa Joe behind Rollins. Then he told him instead of the wishy-washy answer Rollins gave he wanted to make it clear.
“You will not be at WrestleMania,” he said. “No matter what anybody says, no matter what anybody tells ya, you won’t be at WrestleMania.”
Then he straight up told Rollins he used him up and spit him out. He called him “the past, a washed up, beat up superstar who is worthless. Salvage what is left, Seth. What little bit is left, Seth, salvage it.”
Triple H then told him not to come to WrestleMania, specifically instructed him not to show up and call him out because if he does, “The Game” swears it will be the last thing Rollins ever does in a WWE ring.
Before Trips could walk away, Rollins stopped him to say he has nothing left to lose. “I will be at WrestleMania and if it’s the last thing I ever do then I swear to you it will be the last thing YOU ever do.”
