WWE Pikeville Live Event Results:
It was a skeleton crew here in Kentucky tonight as the majority of WWE’s biggest stars are in Japan this weekend. There were a ton of empty seats scattered all over the building and they didn’t seem to be moving anyone in the upper sections to fill it out. Crazy amount of families with their kids.
- Enzo Amore & Big Cass def. The Dudley Boyz. Great reaction for Enzo and Cass.
- Apollo Crews def. Bo Dallas.
-Goldust & R-Truth def. Tyler Breeze & Fandango.
- Sami Zayn won a Battle Royal to determine who will face Rusev for the Intercontinental Championship. I didn’t write down everyone who was in it, but it was essentially everyone who was scheduled in a match before or after this.
- Sasha Banks def. Summer Rae. Sasha with one of the best reactions of the entire night. There was so much of her merch around the arena.
- The Miz (w/ Maryse) def. Darren Young to retain the Intercontinental Championship.
- Rusev (w/ Lana) def. Sami Zayn to retain the United States Championship.
- Kane & Big Show def. The Wyatt Family.
We had a lot of fun despite the fact that most of the roster wasn’t here. Big Show and Kane in the main event wasn’t super exciting but the kids seemed to love it and there were no complaints on the ride home. Lots of buzz about Sasha, Enzo and Cass.
