February 1986, Randy Savage defeated Tito Santana to win the Intercontinental Championship title and making it the greatest reign in the title history. He held the championship title for 400 days. He wrestled with Jake "The Snake" Roberts and George "The Animal" Steele who gave an high level of match. When he did lose the championship, it was to Ricky Steamboat in one of the most acclaimed matches in WWE history. Even in defeat, Savage was still the greatest.
