It Is Time to Shake Things Up Again for WWE SmackDown

WWE Smackdown has always been a good show. Raw gets more attention because it is live and on Monday nights. However, the Blue Brand is very entertaining.

As of late, things have begun to be dialed down. Everything is still delivered in the same way, but there is not much excitement right now.

There are plenty of new talents being shown.

Damien Sandow and his beard had a nice debut two days ago. The man spoke well, but I want to see him in a match before I judge any further.

Titus O'Neil and Darren Young are a fun tag team, but what can they do? The tag division's real star is my "it" girl, Rosa Mendes, so they have some work to do.

Add on Antonio getting my "it" girl, Aksana, by his side and Ryback destroying men, and things are looking bright for the Blue Brand.

That is fine, but none of them are in actual feuds. It is two or three-minute matches each week getting them "over" to a new audience. The real problem is with the well-known wrestlers.

On this week's Smackdown, Randy Orton and Big Show defeated Kane and Cody Rhodes. The match was fine, but we have seen it all before.

Thus, it is time for all of them to move.

Orton is on Smackdown, while Kane is on Raw. I understand the brand extension means very little, but it must mean something here. These two need to stop feuding.

Mr. RKO has bested the monster once again, and there is no issue anymore. Their fathers getting involved would do nothing but drag this on for another month.

The same can be said with Big Show and Cody Rhodes. The Intercontinental Championship has meant nothing in the past month, so what is left to feud over?

Show stood tall, and Cody is the champion.

The main event scene is new. Alberto Del Rio is next to get a World Title match against Sheamus at Over the Limit. They have fought before, but this could be fun for awhile.

Sheamus will retain his title. That is certain, but I am looking forward to this battle.

Just for kicks, Sheamus defeated Daniel Bryan one more time on Smackdown. It was like a little ribbon on their feud. Thankfully, both are now moving forward.

It just feels like the entire Blue Brand is paused or in slow motion right now. The same men are fighting each other, and the new talent are beating lower card talent in short matches.

Honestly, the shows are still good. There is just very little buzz right now for Smackdown.

Christian returning (with a purpose) is due any week now. Sin Cara has to be on his back. The same can be said with Wade Barrett.

Perhaps Teddy Long needs to start reacting? Maybe Eve Torres in charge could be fun? I suppose AJ playing a crazy character could shake things up a little...

I am not big on "fantasy booking," but I am open to logical ideas. Smackdown needs some energy right now. Something...anything!
