So, when The Miz eventually fired him with an unexpected tendency, A-Ry was all of a sudden loose to live out the anger, loosing a source of frustration on his tormentor. Now, at Capitol Punishment (promo), the one time inseparable pair takes their rivalry into the ring.
It all started to ruffle in the wake of WWE Extreme Rules (watch the PPV). It was during that pay-per-view The Cleveland Screamer dropped his beloved WWE Championship to John Cena. Then that night, he put the blame for his loss on Riley's shoulders, chastising Riley for simply not representing at his side during the mate. The situation further dilapidated when, during Miz's I Quit Match at WWE Over the Limit (watch the PPV), Riley tried to use a recording of Cena saying 'I Quit' to support Miz reign as the WWE Champion. When the rouse unknoted, the former WWE Champion once again the finger of blame at his apologetic supporter right before finally beating him on Raw.

The outcome showed an excessive amount frustration. A-Ry snapped and ferociously lashed out his onetime leader with a beating. The following week, Riley not only declined to apologize for his last weeks action, he reveled in his revolt. And when Miz attacked him during an interview, Riley turned the tables and pounded Miz once again.
