Just 24 hours after Swagger’s defeat of Randy Orton at Extreme Rules in a Extreme Rules Match, The 2010 WWE Draft on Raw changed the landscape of Friday night Smackdown forever. Edge and Chris Jericho top contenders for the World Heavyweight Title, were drafted to Raw, leaving a big question in the top contenders list that who will challenge Jack Swagger for the title. But, the answer was given by the larger-than-life Superstar.

On the first SmackDown after Extreme Rules, General Manager of Smackdown Theodore Long wasted no time on naming newly-drafted to Smackdown Big Show as the No. 1 contender to the The All-American American” Jack Swagger for the World title. Moments later, The World’s Largest Athlete put an exclamation mark on the announcement by knocking Swagger out in the middle of the ring.

Jack Swagger has traveled a rocky surface road since he cashed in the Money in the Bank Briefcase to win his first World Championship – suffering non-title loses to The Undertaker, John Morrison and Randy Orton . He has proven that he can win when it counts. Like him or hate him, Two-time All-American’s entire life has served as a moniker for championship victory. And despite his braggadocious demeanor, Swagger has established himself as a man that he has what it takes to keep the title around his waist.

Big Show returns to SmackDown as wild as ever. Among the many dangerous weapons in his gigantic body structure former World Champion carries with him a devastating knockout punch one that took out not only Swagger on his return to Friday night, but also Chris Jericho and Edge.
