260.Intercontinental Champion Rey Mysterio vs. Chris Jericho

It took 6 to 7 years for the wrestlers to compare Intercontinental title to World title. Intercontinental title is 2nd rated title in the wrestling world and the current Intercontinental Champion Rey Mysterio re-present this title perfectly.

The current Intercontinental Champion Rey Mysterio was a former world champion and now he has a challenger for his gold and he is Chris Jericho who is also a former world champion. Jericho is the superstar of the year 2008 and he was the first Undisputed WWE Champion.

During the past few weeks on Smackdown Rey and Jericho competed in the chase match for the World Heavyweight Championship which was won by Jeff Hardy but during that match Jericho hit Rey with a chair and Jericho was disqualified on the next week on Smackdown Rey intrepted Jericho's match in which jericho lost his world title opportinuty of the World Heavyweight Title at Judgement Day after that match Rey hit Jericho and it leaded this feud to Judgement Day for a Intercontinental Champion match.
