The WWE Draft Lottery was designed to shake things up in WWE and provide fresh matchups. Here are the results from the 2008 WWE Draft Lottery.
ECW to Raw CM Punk to Raw The Money in the Bank winner has now been drafted to Monday Night Raw. Hopefully, he'll be able to cash in on that contract soon. Kane to Raw The Big Red Machine will be making his return to Monday Night Raw. Not sure what's going to happen to the ECW title, though. ECW to Smackdown Raw to ECW Raw to Smackdown Jeff Hardy to Smackdown The Rainbow Haired Warrior will get to work on the same brand as his brother now that he's been traded to Smackdown. Jim Ross to Smackdown After being the voice of Monday Night Raw for several years now, Jim Ross will be moving over to Friday nights to commentate on Smackdown. Mr Kennedy A lot of wrestling fans were upset when Mr Kennedy originally left Smackdown for Raw. He didn't do anything on that brand and will now return home. Triple H to Smackdown Personally, I wouldn't hold my breath on this one because there's a very good chance that Triple H ends back up on Monday Night Raw soon. Umaga to Smackdown The rumored move has come true as Umaga is moved over to Smackdown. Hopefully, his feud with the Undertaker comes true. Smackdown to ECW Matt Hardy to ECW Big shocker as the WWE United States Heavyweight Champion gets drafted over to the ECW brand. Smackdown to Raw Batista to Raw After surprising Edge with an attack on Monday Night Raw, Batista receives a surprise of his own when he's drafted away from Smackdown. Michael Cole to Raw Michael Cole and Jim Ross switched places during the WWE Draft Lottery. They were just as shocked as the fans were. Rey Mysterio to Raw The popular masked superstar will now head on over to a brand that he's never worked for before. He will now try to climb up the ladder on Monday Night Raw.
