Is WWE Hinting at What’s to Come in 2017?

With 2016 coming to a close, the WWE has put together a video of seven things they want to see in 2017. Now, most wrestling fans probably have a list of things they’d like to see in 2017, but this is no ordinary list. It comes directly from WWE, after all. That means it could, possibly, be more than just a mere wish list. It could, in fact, be the WWE’s way of tipping their hand in terms of things we might be able to expect to see in 2017.

For example, the list includes John Cena challenging for the Intercontinental Title, the one title he hasn’t held. The list is quick to note that the Intercontinental Title is with the Smackdown brand, which is where Cena also plies his trade. So perhaps we should be prepped for Cena to be the Intercontinental champ soon.

Also on the list is Samoa Joe making his debut on the main roster, and they even tease a potential trade between the two shows. While talking about the possibility of a trade, both Sami Zayn and Cesaro are mentioned by name, and we also see video of Sasha Banks and Dolph Ziggler. Could that be a hint?

If you want to see everything on this list of things the WWE is looking forward to in 2017, check out this video. Then, don’t be surprised if some, or all, of it comes to fruition.
